Adam checks his shoes; black. Good.

"Uh, Miss, Steward Delores?"

"Yes , Adam?"

"Alanza and I, we were out tonight and something weird happened. We thought we should tell someone?"

He relates what happened. ".... and we got away as quick as we could but Alanza figured we should tell someone. It could have been someone really banal?"

"Sounds worse than that.." A frown "Yes, thank you for telling me this. I think I'llsend someone else to pick your car up, Adam."

Adam starts to protest but stops and hands the keys over. "Yes, Stewart. Uh. Good idea."

"I understand , Adam, but if there's some sort of Dauntaun or Autumn person involved, we don't want them memorizing faces "

"No, ma'am."

"Adam sounds like you got a good look at her, later I may ask you to tell Sir Earl about her so we can draw a poster sort of thing"

"It was dark and, uh, I wasn't really focused on her." he apologies "I can try but...."

"No need to apologize" She says "You both did the right thing leaving"

"Thanks. Uh. Steward?"

"Yes?"

"You've got my keys so it's cool and all but... I mean, shouldn't I be safer against Dauntain than anyone else you could send?"

"How so?" She says

"Well.... mortal, right? Mostly?"

"Actually, no, Adam. You are a changeling now , just an oddly inacive one. "

He sighs. "Yes ma'am. Ok."

Alanza gives his arm a squeeze. She knows that sort of talk frustrates him

"We really DO want to help though, Steward" She says "We're up to questing and patrols"

Adam nods agreement, but without a great deal of hope.

"I'll remember that, and I will keep you posted" The Steward says

"Thank you, Steward." And Adam will be away with Alanza if she will come.

And off they go
