There's a feeling that they're being followed. He glances back, he doesn't see that woman but he hears..steps, out of sync

"Al.... hey." he stops short of saying his companion's name. "Company."

(Whispered)

"we definitely don't need to get back to the ...usual place" Whiserping back

"Shit. Somewhere public?"

"I don't know..." A narrowing of her eyes "A certain Friend's senses tell me it's a woman following us. We could confront her? "

"Could do... why would she follow -us-?"

"Up to you. You're... full-youknow."

"We could split up" She whispers "Sees which one of us she follows"

He glances sideways at her, concern for her clear in his eyes.

"Fine fine, we stay together.. spoil sport" She says "Follow my lead"

He nods, agreeing.

And they leave the parking area rather than going to his car, and head towards a small urban bridge "Okay. When I say jump. Jump." Below them are train rails

"Ready." he murmurs.

And then, just in time, the low train approaches, closer, "One.. two.. three.. NOW" And she drops

Adam follows!

And down onto the train cars they land with a thund

*or a thud if you prefer

Mind you, there's a chance of sliding off for a moment

Adam lands and stays low a moment, gauging the train's motion IJUMPEDONTOATRAIN!?!!!!!

She lets loose a laugh after a bit "I think they just lost us, whoever they were"

Adam looks up/behind them, searching the night.

Indeed... by now they're leaving Jefferson City down town area and going further out "Don't worry, we'll hop scotch off to safety after a mile or two. "

"Uh. You have that spell?"

"Don't you?" She asks

"Not well. Iffy."

"Let's chance it" She says "Get tyour bunk ready now, it helps" She seems to have no problem with the risks

but Eshu are reckless

"I, uh, I......"

"You better do it. I can't think of any. I mean, they aren't coming to me."

"I don't know how..." She says "So .. this could be a long trip."

"You don't have it???"

"Nope. Counting on my date to save us" She says "How about a tune that makes you want to leap or jump?" She asks

"Maybe we could jump." he calls as he peers over the edge of the train-top to the ground below.

"I mean, without a spell."

"Adam, the hopscotch will mean we'll land safely... that's part of the magic. If we roll you could break your head open"

He looks almost agonized. "Yeah, but if I mess it up you could get hurt."

"Life is risk.. and if I just jump, I WILL get hurt" she looks at him "it's up to you, Adam. I MIGHT get hurt because you tried to help me and maybe failed, or I DO get hurt, when you could have at least tried. " She looks at the rails below

"Not fair!"he huffs. The chill of the night compounded by the train's speed is starting to set into the bones. "I've never cast this on anyone Fae before. I don't know if I can do it and I don't want to be the only one off this train!"

"Now's your chance to find out..." She makes like she's ready to jump "Lot of rocks down there. "

Adam crouches on the moving train-top, balancing. "Idon't want to hurt you!"

He gathers himself.

"Come take my hand!"

She takes it "Just try, Adam, that's all I ask"

He pulls her close against his body as he stands, the train making its own music and dance for them as they sway in time.

And htey sway, he feels something building.

He takes one of her hands and puts it between them, against his stomach. The touch helps him focus, a little, He tries to reach out, groping blindly in some way for a way in to the magic.

She holds it and.. he feels it, the glamour goes!

And they jump and and leap, the glamour carrying them both to a safe and pretty stylish landing!

"WHOO!" She grins "Nab and I knew you could do it!"
