"Oh, I hope to inspire some of your saucier scenes" He assures her

"In truth that's for the best. I'd end up blushing everywhere, mmm very well. I hope to make it very tempting to take a break now and then frustrating your time table by kissing your neck"

"Oh, this is a most delicious secret to keep."

"oh? "

She slips out of her seat and crosses over to settle in Earl's lap. "Aye. In a touch over three weeks, we shall be sworn. Truehearts. And yet the others know it not."

"They shall be so surprised, nu?"

A fang grin "It will be. And they'll never know what kind of bird sings our heartsong, unless we tell them"

"Aye. Our secret. They shall be our private joy."

a happy squeeze of the girl in his lap "Aye. "

"Now, can you give me a clue to any new characters introduced?"

Oh, and so he hears... how stubborn the redhead is, how tragic the seamstress...

"Oh she's going to be trouble..." He speaks of one "oh sounds like she's in trouble" but careful not to presume too much beyond guesswork. Oh no, do not tempt a writer to pull a twist

"Aye, but they are both good at heart."

"Shh not too many spoilers" A wink

and he does blow lightly on the hairs flowing over her neck. As if seeing if he can distract her even from tea.

She squirms. A soft happy death-rattle.

He's smitten, every little shudder, every squirm, and every twitch. It thrills him "But our heroine is still the one who the book focuses on chiefly right?" A brush of his lips against her ear as he whispers the question

"If Caroline doesn't run away with it..."

"Mmm well, I know any character you write will be interesting.. but I know my favorite. She captured my heart in the first book. Page one"

"Well, you shall have her."

"Good..." A snuggle "Now, it occurs to me that I have never painted a nude woman as she writes her latest novel. What do you think? A quill, a fur rug, a book, and thee ?"

"Oh... I suppose."

"You're so good to me" he kisses her hand.

"I should lock the library ere you begin..."

"Yes, I suppose you should"

A knowing nod in agreement. Yes indeed

A kiss on his cheek. "Go. Get thy paints."

A return of the kiss on her cheek in return, and a longing look, before he reaces off to get those paints and canvas

And when he returns, well... the muse will descend!
