"I guess.. have I been neglecting you lately?" SHe says curiously

"Nah. We're good."

"Well, I'm sorry." She leans up and kisses his cheek "If I have"

"Nah....." he returns her kiss if she will have it "We're good. Not like.....we weren't anything forever, right?"

"Adam, I didn't think you were.. looking for a girlfriend. You've always been kind of satyr like in your way of doing things"

"Kind of.... ok."

"Did I misread that?" A curious look

"No." He smiles, handsome.

"mmm" A brow "Almost a pity"

"I don't know, Adam... there's something NICE about being someone's special one"

Kansas makes a happy cry. She's caught a vole

"HA!" Adam calls her and signals with his glove up.

"You're right." To Alanza. "Is that what you want with us?"

"Okay, unless you want to EAT Vole... " She jokes "I think it's hers."

But Kansas brings it to Adam proudly

"Adam, I want a lot of things, and sometimes waht I want changes."

He praises and coos on her.

Kansas preens

"Ok. I get that. So.....we're moving away from each other?"

He moves the bird to a perch.

"I hadn't realized we were moving AWAY from each other, just not moving closer." A curious look "I mean, I showed up for your statue tour because it was you in part"

A warm smile."Sorry... And, thanks. So you....want to take it closer? Or not? What are you looking for?"

"I thought you were good with us being friends who flirted" SHe says

"Yeah, I am."

"Well, maybe I owe you an apology. I didn't think I had been shunning you or anything. It's just.. I socialize at the school, and you maybe warmer, but you don't much. or didn't, and so.. yeah, you're going to have to dive into the deep end of people there if you want to join me there. But I figured we still saw each other at Earth Runes" Her own bird returned she looks around "Mind you, I think I'll like hawking more in the spring"

"Come on, let's get the birds in where it's warm and you and I will share some hot coffee and talk" She offers
