While they linger in his study, others find their gifts under the tree, or delivered elsewhere:
Bachdion -- possibly obtained from the same source as Dame Bondraste's gift, a framed set of illustrations from the Kama Sutra, reproduced by a master and highlighted with gold leaf (and at the right times while in flickering candlelight, the images may even seem to move in all the right ways).
Vince -- a splendidly decorated cookie tin containing an assortment of gingerbread cookies in the shape of pairs (or threesomes) of gingerbread lovers in flagrante delicto, decorated with care and artistry...and a second and more serious gift of a luxurious silk ascot in deep maroon.
Zara -- A book on the history of writers using noms des plumes, delivered with a wink.
Earl -- A healthy gift certificate for his preferred art supply source.
Sparrow -- Delivered to BrightWinds, it looks like a whimsical leather shoulderbag at first, with an adjustable strap and cleverly stitched designs in different colors of leather, but opening the clasp reveals that one half of the bag actually opens out to be a sketchbook (good paper, but not so good that one hesitates to use it), while the actual bag half is not bulky but big enough to hold several different pencils, her phone, and her wallet; there's a note folded in one pocket: Derynwydd, we thought this might be good for capturing candid likenesses of your people as you're out and about! Much love, --A&C
