Arriving, Adam thanks Earl again and heads for ....... Grand Dame Bondraste.

She finds him, reading a book and tittering "Oh my. "

"GrandDame?" He asks permission.

"Oh," She puts the book down, careful to save the place, "Dont mind me. Just enjoying a romance novel"

"Yes, ma'am. Here...." He hands over the dreamcatcher. "The DeBuke Mountain gave it to me after he put a cantrip on me at school."

She looks at the Dreamcatcher "Why are you giving me this if it was for you?" She asks

"I don't know why he gave it to me."

SHe looks over it "Mm well, we have to trust him sometime. What did he tell you about it?"

A shrug. "He saw something in the spell that made sense to him and gave me that. Said it might help. Had it in his pocket."

"THen definitely use it. If he hexes you I'll write a sternly worded letter" The Grand Dame says "Did you have any fun at all today?"

"I haven't dressed up for a couple years now. I took Lily around, mostly. I don't know."

"think of it as a grown up party, " she says "it can get dangerously grown up."

THAT makes him SMILE. "Cool."

"I thought you might like. You see, i talked to Vashti, ,the costumer and seamstress for the hold... and she is willing to whip up one for you. So... it doesn'thave to be popculutre but it can be."

"What are you wearing?"

"I was thinking of going as Agathie Christie's Miss Marple"

"Oh. I haven't read those." At least he knows they are books. "What do you think I should go as?"

"I think whatever you like" She says "But this is one time you can get a really fancycostume you couldn't match normally any other time. "

He frowns, thinking. "Ok. Maybe.... something to match with Nab?"

"An angel?" testing the idea.

"mmm If it werent' that it might offend the Baron, i'd almost suggest going as a fallen priest" Bondraste chuckles

Adam thinks, grins. "He won't remember."

"Oh Adam you ARE A Fiona.MMmm" She ponders "AN Angel would work too, of course. Elegant white , wings. "

"I should talk to Nab."

"You should. If you want to coordinate especially" A nod

"I will!" happily; -there- is the happy extrovert she's seen!

"You two are going to look lovely together" She says"Go talk to her. I have a book to read so don't worry about me"

"Ok!" and he races off to his room, or whatever location he thinks he can find Nab at this point.
