"oooo" Benny says

August declines to interrupt or interfere. He observes.

"now you must be respectful , and quiet. it is a slow agognizing death to cause harm to any of the books..." Velvet explains "do not dog ear them, or eat food while you read and stain them..."

"it is NOT a slow agonizing death" Tylar corrects

"In a more just world it would be" Velvet says

"Mistreating a book.... Benny, do not do so."

"I won't" he says

"Thank you."

And into the library they go

Bronte perks up "By the pricking of my thumb, something wicked this way comes"

Spiders scuttle.

August holds the door for the younger ones, and steps inside after. "Bronte. Come meet my page if you will. He is Kin to us, and recommended by his grandfather."

"Salutations!" Bronte flies down to see the boy "It's my way of saying hello"

Benny breaks into giggles ofdelight

"Children" Velvet sighs in a whisper

Dark eyes peer from the shadows - she is allowing herself to be seen, though not making a show of it.

"Sorry" Benny says "It's just.. a dragon.made of words.. it's so cool"

"She's a bookwyrm, with a Y" The boggan says

Benny turns and says "oh.. hello miss?" As he sees dark eyes

August seems... quietly surprised.

"Greetings."

"I'm Benny" he says "I'm a page."

At this admission, Bronte looks over the boy VERY Curiously

"Welcome, young Benny."

"My page." He clarifies gently.

"Page Benny, this is Miss Zara, the librarian" Squrie Tylar says

"Cool. Do you have Dr Seuss?" Benny looks around

"Aye, we do. Will you be staying at the hold?"

"At times, yes." He says softly.

"I'm trying to learn how to help against the Dark" the boy says

"Dr. Seuss is a useful author for such. You may borrow, but for now, the book must needs stay within the hold."

August nods agreement.

"Thank you" he says then covers his mouth and says softer "Thank you"

Velvet nods at the correction

Bronte beams "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men"

"Can you write your name yet?"

"Yes Miss Zara I.. uhm I can write Benny. Benjamin not so much"

"Benny is acceptable."

Zara turns, and goes to the children's shelves.

Benny follows 'Thanks.. I like it better. It's more.. me" He says

August watches.

"Tis important to have a name that pleases. Did you know that Dr. Seuss was not his given name? Nay, twas one he chose. A pen-name, it is called."

"A pen name?" The boy has not heard of this "That sounds kind of magical too, was.. was Dr. Suess one of you?"

"Pen-names are special names for authors, for ones who would be secret. I am uncertain if Dr. Seuss was one of us, but he was certainly a friend and dreamer. Ah, here we go..." She shows Benny the brightly-colored spines.

"Oh tahnk you" He kneels down to that level and looks them over.

Bronte smiles "A person's a person.. no matter how small" She nods to August with approval of this latest suppplicant

"Benny.... he is special to me. As are my squires."

Velvet looks curious

Zara nods. "I shall bring no harm to the child, August."

"Of course not!" Emphatic but softly said.
