A long sleep later, Adam stirs.

"Just keep the spoon going, young man" The boggan fusses.

So Adam keeps stirring the spoon. Custom made dog food. He can't believe he's doing this.

But apparently learning how to make dog food is now part of his training

Yup. And this isn't just to spoil a dog.. one of the dogs is sickly and needs some softer stuff. Stupid beagle, even the fae hounds, smarter, will eat anything.. including a bad mushroom that puts them off their feed.

Adam's culinary adventures to date has been making sandwiches when necessary. But this is cool.

Yeah, right mix of meat and grain, making sure it's not too watery but still soft. Some of the veggie mix in it surprises him

"GOod good" The boggan, who.. he has no idea what this fellow's name is, at least praises when Adam is doing things right, and starts chatting between instructions "Looking forward to Pennons?"

"Yeah!"enthusiastically "Ihad a great time last year. That was in Jersey, but.... it's got to be even better here, right?"

"Oh it might but word has it the Duke and Duchess maybe having it at their place, which means, well, it'll be BIG"

"The Duke and Duchess?" excited interest.

"Sure lad.. the Duke and Duchess are in what you'd know as Saint Louis. They rule the greater Duchy. Then under that there's the Count and Countess, and under that..well, here, with the Baroness. It's a feudal system. The Duke is a Gwydion Sidhe, and the Duchess of Housse Beaumayn, but a satyress. Odd we got so many 'commoner kith nobles' but there you have it"

"I know about the system. Count Hemlock is Gwydion too. A satyr Countess, though?

"Duchess lad. Call her Countess and she'll be having you thrown out. Our Countess is a sluagh" Amused look

"Oh. Yeah." He winces.

"Happens. Sometimes I almost call Baron August SIR isntead of Baron... mind you that's habbit"

"Yeah, seems like there are a lot of, you know, common-kith nobles here. Think that's because it's America?"

"You know, this doesn't smell bad....."

"Concordia IS more open that some places, but there are fae lands where noblity has been pretty much outruled" The boggan nods "Should smell dandy. That's grand materal"

"Do they need it wram?"

"Long as it isn't too hot that's best" He nods "You go on, feed it to him now if it's not too hot. Give that pooch a pat for me"

"He's a moron. That's his new name, Moron." Adam takes it to feed the beagle.

Dumas and Moron appear to be friends..which makes sense... Dumas worries and fusses over the kenneled beagle. Kenneled for his own safety and so the OTHER beagle doesn't steal his food

"Get lost, Dumas. This is Moron's."Adam feeds the dog. "There."

Moron must be sick because it takes him a bit, before he starts eating

Adam hangs out a moment, watching with concern to make sure the dog -does- eat.

And, seeing that he does, Adam cleans up and goes to see if he can find Alanza.

Yeah, poor stupid beagle. He's eating.

Dumas follows Adam.. and wouldn't you know? It's the dog that gets the petting along the chest and a scratch behind the ear as Alanza sees them both "Oh whos a good boy?"

Me? is it me? Dumas wags excitedly

"Hey."Adam smiles. "How're you doing?"

"I'm good" Alanza says "For a girl who was nearly sacrificed and got doped"

Then she kisses him WOW

He returns it in kind, and how; he -is- a good kisser.

When he can breath, he says. "I was worried about you."

"You guys saved my life and I wasn't going to kiss Minerva" A smile

"Good."He kisses her again.

"I'm really glad your safe, they didn't hurt you."

"I came out of it a lot better than you did. Wow, then we got to assemble the troops and kick ass!"

"Huh?"

"Oh yeah. I... wait.. you don't know?"

"No..."

And she lays out a story! Eshu aren't good at making stories BORING when they're not, so soon.. Adam may feel he missed out on the most exciting stuff evar! A hunt! Magical omens! Ambush at an old church! And a strip club moment celebrating Scotland's great export of strong as hell thighs!

"Aw MAN..... " And Adam curses dejectedly.

She closes eyes against the storm of cursing, then without missing a beat says "Something vexes thee?"

"I MISSED IT!" Short of something to hit or kick, he flails his arms. "A whole battle and shit and I missed it all!"
