"I .. oh Dinner" She remembersand blushes

"Yes, come and get it you two" Minerva's mother says

Adam seems enchanted by her expression, and might not hear the call to dinner.

"Adam?" Bachdion's voice says

"Yes, Sir?" absently "Oh!Oh, coming...." He offers his arm to Minverva. "Dinner?"

"Sure" She says and looks at the arm, then blushes and takes it

He puts a hand on hers where it rests on his arm and together they go into the small kitchen area to eat.

"Well, goodness, you two seem to be hitting it off" Lesley says with a look at the arms

"Just being polite, ma'am. You know. Old fashioned manners."Adam smiles.

Minerva blushes "Just talking , mom"

"I see... your nephew is a charmer, Dion" lesley says

Bachdion smiles "He's an apt pupil yes"

"Family trait, ma'am."

"Well, let's try this pasta" She serves

And Adam will get Minvera's chair, and Lesley's (if Dion doesn't).

ALready got it

Then Adam sits and the food is passed around and enjoyed. Adam is using his best manners.

And soon, Bachdion strikes up some friendly conversation, getting the ladies to talk, and making them laugh with charm

Adam mostly observes his mentor working, but doesn't sir there like a lump; he contributes.

There's a lot to learn, how to make the women laugh, how to listen to what they like, and what they say. What matters to them.

Adam is aware that listening is most important, and he practices that.

The food is wonderful... the company pleasant, and Sir Bachdion definitely does great prep work

Adam pays special attention to Minerva, and is friendly-polite to Lesley.

Minerva asks him who his favorite Basketball players are

Adam is able to talk b-ball! (Even if his players can't....) and after explaining -why- those are the best players, asks after Minerva's favs.

Minerva likes some of the same teams, and seems surprised they agree "I mean.. exactly! Folks don't realize how good ______ is!"

"Right!?!?"

"Do you play at all?"

"Oh I know how but I would never make a school team" She says

"She's actually pretty good I think" Her mom says

"You're my mom, you hAVE to say that"

"Maybe we can shoot sometime?"

"Sure.. just.. go easy on me" Minerva asks

Adam winks at her. "Sure."

A touch of a wicked grin. Not too much; her mom is right there.

Minerva sees the grin, and gives him that friendly eyeroll

Sadly,soon the meal is over, and 'Uncle' Dion is saying "Time to go, Adam"

"Yes, Sir." Adam says, a touch sadly. "Minerva, it was great to see you again. I'll call. If that's ok with you, ma'am." the last to Lesley.

He catches Lesley checking out Bachdion with a bit of a smolder in her eyes, but it vanishes quickly as soon as she realizes Adam has turned attention to her "You seem a very polite young man. It's okay with me."

Minerva says "moooo-oooom"

And the two head out "That, I think" Bachdion said "Went well"
