"You're outrageous" This is apparently not an insult, she gives him a kiss "This is me going. Enjoy that shower." And she takes her towel, wraps it about herself, and starts to head out

Adam sighs, watching her go..... "See you later...."

and off she saunters

"..... in my dreams....."

And so Adam goes to.. ah, well, cold shower.. or maybe Nab.. but eventually, he goes to sleep.

And then he wakes up in the morning

Automatically, he reaches for Nab.

Nab laughs "You had some fun dreams"

He curls up with her. "You liked?" He mumbles.

"I did," she nods "Keeps me toasty" She stretches her wings out a bit

"Good." Adam kisses whatever bit of her is close.

Oh right on the lips as she is full sized, though he can run fingers over her tail

And he does.

She looks intrigued, "Glad I hit that snooze button. The extra fifteen minutes has charged you."

That's when it sinks in. He may be late for Sir Magnus' magic lessons!

"Uh-oh. What time is it?" He squints.

"Uhm.." SHe looks over "Morning ish? Who cares?"

If he's not in the practice chamber in 15 minutes Sir Magnus might care

"Crap!" He jumps up and starts throwing on clothes. "Lessons with Sir Magnus." He explains. "Gotta go, Nab."

"Oh! Oh I'm sorry!"

"S'ok!" He insists "Really. I just have to hustle." And he does, to the bathroom and back.

And so Adam goes, hopping down the hallways, putting on one shoe at a time...

and he slides into the room that's used for Sparing practice, Spell practice, and sometimes making out (Fiona hold, really no room is above that except the library)

(Only the Librarian is allowed to canoodle there!)

"Hey, Sir." He greets his teacher smoothly.

"Cutting it kind of close there, Apprentice" Magnus raises a brow

"Yeah, uh, sorry. Overslept." Sheepishly.

"Bound to happen now and then, I'm not normally a morning person myself," Sir Magnus said

"now, you want to work with magic... let's start with what you have done, Willow whisper" He tosses him a cookie! "Catch"

He catches and looks at it. "I talked to a cookie once.":

"I know. That's why I want you to do it again." he says with a smile

Adam looks dubious. "I had to have help."

"You werent a fae then."

Adam gives him a glum look and shrugs. "Ok. So...... first I have to, like, summon the magic with a trick or something, right?"

"Don't think of it as something you have to do, think of it, if I may suggest, as something FUN to do. WHen you were a kid, if your mom or dad wereen't around, you might play with your food right? A little?"

He grins. "Hell, even if they -were- around."

"Remember how that felt? Just winging it, goofing a bit?" Magnus chuckles

"Like...." He looks at the cookie and adopts a high pitched voice "Oh no, Mr Adam, don't eat me! I can grant you three wishes!!" And he makes the cookie 'run away'.

A sense of...glamour yes, but more building as Adam just does that

"Ha. Just so, now pick it up and talk to it and demand your three wishes, or tell it is doomed, or whatever you would do if 8 year old you were having fun with it further!"

"Ha ha Mr Cookie!! I have you and I will gobble you up if you don't tell me what I want to know!!"

And it whispers in a squeeky whisper "Mr. Adam, ask ask...so that I might crumble in thy mouth"

"Whisper your questions or you'll break the spell" Magnus warns

"Uhhhh..... who made you?"he whispers.

"Bertha the boggan with hasty hands complained , ordered by a sidhe to make me so quickly went against her grain. But he's the boss so fine, whatever darn elf insisted, but she doesn't tell him how his spells should be assisted" it hurumphs

Magnus winces and mutters "apologize to Bertha. Got it"

Then magnus says "is there still a glow about the cookie? or a twinge in your gut that isn't hunger when you focus on it? if so.. you have another question left"

Adam focuses, one hand on his belly button, the other holding the cookie.
