Ivory shakes his head and calls up "Baroness? Have you a moment?"

Coradel looks down and spots Ivory. "Certainly!" She smiles and finds a rail to slide down, stopping before him with a little hop. "What is it?"

"News of new changeling in the world... and of a trod she stumbled through.. I think she reopened it" He cuts to the point after bowing "I confess, I missed a clue"

"Oh! Lovely! I didn't sense a dream dance. Where is she now?" Coradel looks past him, as if Ivory may be hiding the new fledge.

A sigh "Carthage new York.. the Barony of SIlver Wolf" Ivory admits

A blink. "She's not here? Of course, a new fae anywhere is great news, but why are you bringing me news of a chrysalis that has occurred states away?"

"Because she was here. Gwen was a dreamer, or so I thought, I was trying to muse. A 14 year old girl... runaway... turns out she was actually a troll. I wasn't there for her Dream dance. The energies of it opened a trod in Jefferson City and she dropped off in Silver Wolf Barony. It's amazing she didn't get lost off the silver. "

"Oh! Well...that certainly complicates things. Is she safe? I don't know much about SilverWolf, though I think I've heard the name in passing."

"By the time I got there, she had been rescued from Raiders by the local baron. He's an Ailil. "

"Hm. Have you met with him?"

"More than that..." And, he relates the story of how he helped hunt down the raiders, along with the Darkgate Trolls. Gwen's performance... and of her odd stone like skin

A blink. "He did not release her to you." A sigh. "I suppose that's his right. She was found in her dream dance in his demesne. Still, I will make a bid for her return, if you wish. Her home has been here."

A shake of his head "to his credit, he gave her a choice. She picked Silver wolf. I fear I can't compare with Ailil charm"

"Oh..." a fond smile as she rests her fingers on his shoulder. "Liam have their own ways. It is not a failing." She releases him. "I suppose it is time for you to hunt for another dreamer. It would also be wise for you to keep in touch with this Gwen, as an informal ally for the future. If a troll with stone skin is on the battlefield, you might prefer to fight alongside her rather than against her!"

"What about the Monday trod?" He asks

"Where does it open here? If it's close to the main trod, we may be able to have one set of guards cover both."

"It opens in an aley way in Jefferson City. Only on Mondays unless one has the knack for opening trods early. The other end is a mailbox near a deserted gas station."

"Ahh. Tricky. Hm...well, best for the locals if we keep an eye on it, though it'll be tedious work for the guards. I'll have Delores arrange to have it added into the roster. Can you show the guards the precise location, Ivory?"

"I can" He says "And I'll try to visit Gwen now and then. I owe her that much. I hope to keep her seelie, though Zara finds me terribly provencial I suspect"

Coradel looks amused. "Well, there's something charming about provincial, in proper doses."

"I certainly am glad to find more than one woman thinks so" wryly Then "Thank you, Baroness. I feel .. a bit like I failed. That you would be upset with me."

"Well, I'm a bit envious of SilverWolf, but as you say, he's within his right and she chose where to end up. I haven't lost anything I didn't already have." A shrug. "Not terribly upset. Of course, if it would make you happier to be punished...?"

"No" A bit alarmed, then "Oh.. ah, it may not matter much to me, but you might want to know, apparently that in addition to dogs and hawks... the Baron is an avid horse breeder"

A blink and then a smile. "That's where I've heard of SilverWolf before. Somebody was speaking of the breeding lines they have developed. Oh, that's wonderful. I must go visit!"

"Oh my" He says "Well, I can't say I didn't suspect that might not be your reaction, Baroness."

"You sound dismayed. Why is that?"

"Ah," he says "Well, Baron August doesn't like most Ailil. And he's going to give me the side eye for this I think"

"Well, true, but I will speak with Baron August before I go. This can hardly be considered an error on your part as far as I can see."

"I should have kenned more deeply, seen she had a sleeping fae soul inside" A frown again. Like a lot of Liams, he can be arrogant in his humility

She does recognize August's self-torture in Ivory's words. "Ah, you were something less than perfect! How will you ever live down the shame?!" A gentle mocking, then she shakes her head. "You have learned to check more deeply next time. And perhaps Da'an hid it from you for a reason. It's hard to say."

"Perhaps" He says "When you go, may I escort you to make introductions and check on Gwen?"

"I think that would ease Baron August's mind, if he doesn't choose to visit himself. He is at least as wary of Ailil as you are."

"Yes. Given Dame Clair's good service he might be more tolerant of the Seelie ones. The Baron seems a brave man, and not unkind, but you never know with that house. I'm at your disposal when you visit" He bows low "Thank you for hearing me out. Sorry for intruding on your sport"

"Oh, quite all right. Between you and me? While I might charm Shalimar to a pause in hostilities, I'm sometimes reluctant to press the advantage. He can generate quite an area effect." A wink.

"You know it delights his little heart that folks fear him more than our resident Lion" Agreement

"Well, his impact certainly lingers. Now...I'll go find Delores and speak with her about those guard rosters."

"Gladly!" He brightens at something, and heads off
