"Well ,it made him tough in a fight I hear" Earl says "Though I say 'heard' because he died when I was very young"

"i' m more worried about the influence of HOuse Ailil. I know, I know, Liam biases" Ivory says

"Liam can be unreasonable about unseelie. Forgive."

"humph" Ivory says "I think I come by it honestly. Besides, Earl's a seelie fellow and you seem to prefer him that way"

Earl.. blushes lightly

"Oh..." A little cat-like smile. "Nay. I adore him in all of his seasons."

"Oh Earl" Ivory looks at him and shakes his head "And you seem like such a nice guy"

"I AM nice," earl says "Mind you, I can be a bit more materialistic when the Winter is on me, but I also can be more assertive. It has a trade, a balance. And ... Zara has a mix of seasons I would not trade for the world."

"And I saved thy life in my winter garb." She reminds Ivory.

"Oh.. right, sure" He says "Bring that up." Ivory says "I guess if Gwen goes unseelie it's okay. As long as she's happy"

"In my experience, much like seelie sluagh, unseelie trolls are stll trolls."

"Dagda comes before courtly codes."

"Will she learn the Code of Dagda?" Ivory asks "While at a noble hold?"

"From the HIgh King's castle to the Farmhold I was born near, from the old countries of the Norse dreams, down to Mexico, all trolls make sure other trolls learn the Code of Dagda" Earl assures him "We may lose our lodges, we might take up new ways, but we hold onto that tight"

"Are there trolls there?"

"Thanes" Ivory says

A nod at Earl.

"Makes me wonder what all sluagh learn " Ivory says looking at his half sister

Earl raises a brow "You don't seriously expect her to tell you?"

"Why, tea. Of course."

"Oh come on," Ivory says "It's all very nice, but Tea isn't a cultural truth , it's... just a beverage"

Earl winces.

Eyebrow.

"It's hot leaf juice" The sidhe says "tasty enough but..."

Earl interrupts and asks Zara "Want me to banish him from the room?"

"To think, they claim to be civilized."

"i'm STILL Not sure how they won" Earl sighs "Bunch of wine drinkers it seems" A sad shake of his head

"I'm an Autumn sidhe" Ivory says, then a beat "i'm okay with a cold beer."

"I do forgive you that. You, after all, are not a sluagh. You do not understand Tea."

"Even with all my training," Earl nods "I fear I shall never learn beyond the 9th rung of understanding"

Ivory gives a LOOK

"But a word of advice, for when you encounter one less indulgent towards you?"

"Go on" he says doubtful

"It would be unwise to deride tea as 'hot leaf juice' to one of my cousins."

Ivory sighs "Understood"

Then Ivory looks around "Nice room. I should go tell the Baroness of the trod"

"I do appreciate the update. Thank you, Ivory."

"You're welcome, Zara." The sidhe says and rises "I appreciate the scrying. " And he nods to Earl "You're going to make this bedroom look creepy, aren't you?"

"You betcha" Earl says and smiles

and Ivory departs

Smirk.

Earl grins at her "Your brother's a bit naive"

"He is. But, well - I am glad he has been safe and sheltered."

"mm yes.. now.. mmm how about this bed design? It looks old fashioned and roomy..." And they sort through the options
