Siv comes in looking for the Baroness

She finds Coradel before she even gets five strides from the trod, as the Baroness is taking a look at the area near the obstacle course...she seems to be assessing it for space...?

"Oh..." A look "you're not taking down the dueling decks are you, your ladyship?" Siv says "The Pooka love it."

Emma-possum is strolling along a balance rail, not a care in the world.

"Oh, I think I'd be facing an uprising if I tried that. No, no...just considering...mmm....event space." She turns to Siv. "Well, Captain...all is well?"

"Ah, yes. I have a letter from the Chieftain to return to you" She hands over a sealed scroll "And, well, not sure if she wrote about Adam in there or not"

Siv does take time to wave fingers at Emma with a smile

Emma sits up to wave back with her little hand-like paw.

"Adorable" She mutters

"Adam?" She takes the scroll. "What does he have to with...well...anything?" She cracks open the scroll and reads it. A brief nod, then she rolls it again. "No mention of Adam."

Siv wonders how best to do this then says "Adam is..unique, and my mother has asked that both Sir Magnus and Sir Bachdion consider tutoring him. They'll have meetings with him soon, to see if it would be a good mentor student fit."

"Oh? Interesting. So...if one of them says yes, Adam will be relocating here? I suppose we have room...though...he's the odd one, right? Not quite kinain, not quite kithain, not quite mortal?"

"AH, youv'e heard. Just that... some sort of betwixt and between"

"Well, he has visited here, now that I recall. He had a massage lesson. I don't recall him speaking very much, though. A bit...dim?"

A snerk, then she says "Around sidhe women he does seem out of it" she admits "He's not dumb, but when the blood rushes to his crotch he does wink out a bit." A sigh "Truth, he's got a couple if issues but he's also in need of help"

"Oh, well, around here we might well see him entering a room several seconds before he steps over the threshold, if that's the case. Well, if he needs help, he needs help." A shrug.

"Thank you, Baroness Coradel." Siv says "I am grateful." A beat "Since the scroll mom sent wasn't about him, what WAS it about again?" Curious

"Oh, she responded to a question I had. Nothing more." She tucks the scroll in her bodice.

"Good thing I'm not Eiluned, I'd explode" she mutters

She smiles. "Oh, I'm quite sure. Now, when do you bring Adam?"

She names the time "He'll be meeting Sir Bachdion first at Jack's Pub. Bachdion says he thought it would be more informal"

"Interesting. I wonder what he'll do from there," she says with a fond smile.

"Don't ask me. " She stops "He.. "And she bites her lip "Perhaps I shouldn't say?"

But at that time, Innish comes up with some news for Coradel she MUST attend to.

And Siv bows as she goes

Well, maybe that's for the best. Siv ponders How do I say 'I think Bachdion is feeling too old to mentor?

(End Scene)

(Later)

Adam feels very strange as he leaves the trod. He's ..he's pretty sure whatever just happened, Siv saved his life.

And he's wounded.

So too is Siv.

But they're safe now.. in the garden

Adam checks himself quickly, and then goes to help Siv (assuming he can). "What happened? You ok?"

Siv looks at him, "Easy, all in a day's work. We should drop by Emma's if she's in her hutt"

(What are the wounds?) "Who's Emma?" Adam looks around; the gardens here are not (yet) familiar.

His sword arm has a nasty gash, looks like someone id a make shift bandage on it.

Siv has a slash over her shoulder "Emma is pooka and a skilled healer with a good disposition"

":This way" She moves to the cabin, a bit stiffily "And careful, your arm is cut near to the bone. I barely got you out of there"

Adam can feel it now, and cradles his arm carefully. "I don't remember....."

"Trust me," She says "I was amazing. You owe me a coke. Monster. Fight. Siv being awesome" Siv says

He winces. "Yeah. Ok. Owe you a coke."

"You weren't bad either" She adds "Your swordsmanship is improving..." A knock on EMMA's hut "Emma? you there?"

"Thanks." tightly.

"Drat, she must be out" Siv says "Come on anyway, I can put on a better bandage"

Adam follows.

They stop in the hut and soon a medicated bandage with smiley face is wrapped around the arm. It seems to sting a bit at first. Must have some medication.

Adam holds it carefully but doesn't complain about either the cause or the cure.

"Good man" she says noticing his stoicism "There we go. Really sorry about that. That trod is supposed to be safe"

A careful shrug. "Like I said, I don't remember much. Thanks, though."
