"In light of this, Captain, it would be nothing short of criminal if I did not announce that I am ready, willing, able, and eager to welcome you into House Fiona. Will you accept this invitation, and prepare to make your Oath?"

Zara beams.

Siv's eyes widen, first with surprise, then delight. And she leaps into the air and yells "Helvete ja!!"

Coradel blinks, then laughs and says, "I'll take that as a yes."

"I mean yes, yes!" Siv says "Can I invite my family to witness it?"

"Now, being who I am, I'm ready to hear your oath on the spot. Others, however...." A slight pause. Whether she's referring to August or Bachdion, or possibly both, is hard to say. "Other prepared me for the likelihood that you may wish to have this witnessed by family, and apparently they were correct! Very well, then...we shall call this your pre-Oathing and welcome home party...and then we'll just have to party all the more when the Oath is taken. Agreed, all?" she adds the crowd into the address.

Emmaline whoops and throws a handful of flowers in the air.

"I'm BOOKED darling... but I'll try to bump someone" SHallimar says

Leo goes "DOUBLE Parties, more reason to bring Siv in!"

Indeed, the crowd seems to be gung ho all over

Coradel laughs with delight. "Very well! Raise your glasses, one and all! A toast to our almost-newest-Fiona, Captain Waveborn!"

August passes a glass to Coradel and lifts his own.

Zara finds a glass to raise.

Coradel takes the glass from August with a happy twinkle in her eye, and raises her glass to join in the cheers for Siv!

And glasses are grabbed of all sorts, tea, wine, ale, whiskey and more!

The toast, the drinking, the cheers, and in the midst of it Coradel whispers something to the Captain.

Siv tilts her head

Siv breaks into laughter "If they did, Baroness, they didn't tell me" then she toasts as well, "To House Fiona and it's allies! To Love, and Laughter, and romance! To fierce pride and reckless care! To adventures!"

"Hear hear" Magnus says

Vince is a blur as he ensures that EVERYONE has a glass

Siv hugs the Baroness, "Oh you caught me completely off guard with this." A pause "mind you, I agree with you I earned it" She blinks as her glass is refilled

Even Isis and Emri find themselves with goblets of fruit juice touched with just enough champagne to give them bubbles.

Isis declares "It tickles my toes"

Enri sips then says "today I am a man..." BLush and sip the juice

Emmaline is distributing wreaths of... surprise surprise... dandelions, to wear as crowns or necklaces.

Even Zara gets one, the yellow standing out starkly against the sluagh's grey and white.

A laugh. "Good. No false modesty, Captain. Now, I think we need a bit more music...." she calls out to the troubadors "...and I think there is a gent there who would be eager to pull you out onto the floor." She gestures to Jonas off to one side.

Vince starts forward, then HARRUMPHS as Jonas is indicated, and turns, sweeping the next nearest lady off her feet... which is...

Earl smirks at Zara as she is thus adorned

Jonas looks to Vince, in clines his head to the fellow, and in a very low voice says "ha ha." And winks moving to Siv

A wink to Vince, a promise for a later dance implied. Then Coradel turns to August for their first dance of the night.

Siv turns and beams "Ah ,yes, now he's the reason I didn't wink out even before I got glamour in a note. " She takes Jonas in her free hand "Dance with me, pretend to be happy for me?"

"Believe it or not..." Jonas says "While I thought I would be dreading this, I am actually, almost exceedingly proud to the point of gushing on your behalf. You deserve every cheer."

Zara baps Earl lightly on the nose as he smiles, and reaches up to adjust his crown. "Feh." A smile.

And Vince grabs Delores!

"Oh goodness sake, you great golden goob" But she dances with him anyway

He gives the Steward a spin, a lift, and a SMACKAROO - irrepressible! And then will give her a dance as well.

"My one true love, how did you know? You run my feelings like you run this whole show...." Threatening to compose bad poetry to her on the spot.

"WIth three rings and a lion act?" Delores says

Zara twirls with her troll - yes, purple earmuffs on to dull the loud.

"But where would we put the third ring?" He wonders aloud, with an impish grin.

Earl's crown adjusted , he dances with her, "Beautiful, my love"

Coradel looks triumphant as she and August travel around the dance floor. The speak quietly as they dance, and Coradel graces other couples with her beautiful smile as they pass by.

"Aye, tis." A waltz that might as well be on air!

And yes, her dandelion crown is perfect. August's is a tad lopsided, but charmingly so.

Delores looks ready to send the Lion off, and when this dance ends, she hands her over "I'm donating you to Charity."

Charity blushes, but grabs him

Emma has gone from Oswald to Shalimar!

Zara... is NOT sharing her partner.

Vince relinquishes Delores to Oswald, and approaches Siv and Jonas, with a bow. "May I cut in?"
