"Hey, you, lady, where's your mask?" A voice says

Coradel pauses. "Oh! I...forgot it in the car." Which is true. She got carried away.

"I don't suppose you have a spare?" she adds, smiling winningly.

"Well, " Says the woman with the mask and the poodle "We have families here.. FAMILLEES"

She does not appear won over

Coradel's smile vanishes...but she has no ability to affect this woman. She glances to Bachdion's position...then turns and heads back to the car with a swish of her long, beautiful hair and a proud sway to her hips. Take that, mortal.

Getting back in, she sighs to August. "I forgot a mask. And now this banal wench has made a fuss, and if I try again, I'll disrupt what Bachdion is trying to do. "

The poodle yaps after her

She rolls down the window and points at the poodle. "Pee on her, you yappy little thing."

"Do you want.... Coradel....." a sigh "I will take it to him." August volunteers.

And suddenly a poodle lifts leg "Christian Grey, stop it!"

And the woman fusses and dances to avoid

"Oh, August...would you?" She passes him the dross.

And it appears a mortal woman, and her suddenly pissy poodle, have fled

"Of course." He masks up, and wanders back towards Bachdion's tree. Casually.

She watches from the passenger seat, adoring her husband and the lover he's going to help.

Bachdion is smiling as the kids stare at the lights and music...

One 'firework' pops... and takes the shape of a Lion face

"Oh, lovely, Bachdion," Coradel murmurs. "Yes."

August keeps a sharp eye out and tries to unobtrusively let Bachdion know there is dross.....

Bachdion turns, "August ? What are you doing here?" He smiles though

"Dross."simply "Didn't mean to interrupt." And he drops/passes it over.

He takes it "Thanks. Look at their eyes huh? " A pause "Oh my .. is everything okay at the hold? The Baroness does she need me?"

"She wondered where you were, asked after you. It's ok. I'll tell her; do you know when you might return?"

Coradel waves from the car window, whether Bachdion has spotted her or not.

Bachdion ssmiles "here.let me spend a bit of this dross.." And he does.. and the fireworks resume "I'll go with you now. I'm pushing my luck hanging out there."

And the fireworks burst and shine... and sing

And Bachdion waves to the kids, and joins August and Coradel for a drive b ack

And August takes them home.

Bachdion talks about the kids as if they were the most amazing people in the world

And who is to say him nay?
