Her eyes widen and she looks for whichever courtier is closest. Shalimar, perhaps?

Shalimar has hung up on the phone and encouraging everyone to work hard as he sips drinks

"Shalimar, have you seen Bachdion recently?"

"Tall fellow, has a touch of silver in his horns? Fond of crimson boxers? " A pause "Can't say that I have. "

A delicate frown. "August...will you help me find him? Please?"

"Of course." sincerely "Start with his rooms?"

"or someone elses..." Shalimar sings

"Yes..." A sense of urgency as she begins walking with him. "I...I thought he was busy. But...it's been...more days than I'm comfortable with..."

August nods, all business; when they arrive at the portal in question, he knocks firmly.

"Bachdion?" she calls out as August knocks.

Bachdion's room gives no reply.

August tries the door.

Unlocked. he goes in

She sweeps in ahead of him. "Bachdion, are you here?"

August looks around.

The room is empty, but thank goodness does show signs of recent use

That does reassure her somewhat. "He's been here," she says with some relief. "Not too long ago, I think. Well..." She hesitates, then starts looking around the room a bit.

What's this? One of his best outfits is missing. That's good yes? Unless it's another missing purple sash situation?

There's a picture on his night stand of children... young still, wkith a certain mortal woman

August looks with consternation at the picture. "Coradel......"

Queen Bess

She goes to him and looks. "Oh...oh! Perhaps he's gone to visit her? And the children?"

August nods. "It's possible. Shall we go look? Discreetly."

"Absolutely. Do you know where she lives? I've never been."

August nods, and after a brief detour for his keys and things, he leads Coradel out to the car to take them to Queen Bess's house. And yes, he is able to drive directly there.

It's .. not hard to find. Streams of gentle flowing Chimerical light like ribbons floating... shimmering bands of red white and blue....

Coradel watches the area carefully, hoping to perhaps catch sight of Bachdion on his way to Queen Bess.

No unechanted , save perhaps the VERY young , could see it... but what surrounds the house is a July Fourth Celebration...but rather than bams and pops... it's musical

"Oh, my...what's going on here?" Coradel smiles.

"He's... celebrating Independence with the children?"

August watches from across the dashboard.

"I think it's lovely!" She watches for a bit. "Oh, but...how much glamour is he spending on this? And is Queen Bess seeing it? Did he enchant her?"

Probably not her, but the children laugh and applaud from inside. while their mother says "you two are so silly... "

And Coradel spots him... Bachdion looking proud , and pleased, but careful not to be seen by mortal eyes

"Oh! August..." she pats his arm and points. "There he is."

He looks, nods.

Bachdion is outside, and the children watching the display through the window

"Oh, look how happy he looks!"

Indeed the father is grinning

"I'm going to give him a bit of dross to help...." She starts to get out of the car.

August cranes a bit to see, hard from the car but ... "Wait, how?"

"I'm...going to walk up to him and offer it...." she says, as if it's obvious.

"Won't that draw attention to him?"

So far.. no one seems to be noticing him but he does have a tree 'sort ' of for cover

"Oh...hmm..." She pauses, then says, "Well, I might just pause under a tree for shade. Want to come with me?"

"I, ah, I try to to let them see me." apologetically.

"Them? The babies? Oh, it's not like they'll remember. But no worries...wait for me." A smile and a wink and she closes the car door before heading down the sidewalk at a leisurely stroll.

"Well, her too....." but she's gone.

She takes out a little toy figure, a bit of dross, as she approaches the tree. She comes up on the other side of it from Bachdion...he may or may not see her.
