Coradel follows Vince's look. A pause, then she gives his furry nose a kiss. "Don't get shot," she whispers.

And Vince does see.. one leap here, clamber there, and he could get on the roof

He leans against her for a moment, and then slips over to one side. Large rump wiggling almost comically like a housecat as his tail helps with internal calibrations and the mystical calculations, and he makes the jump and climb...

Coradel watches tensely. "Claire...be ready to shoot him if this goes badly."

Claire nods "Won't Vince get mad if I shoot him?" Then a beat "Just kidding. I know which 'him' you meant" She pulls out a hand gun, but uses her other hand like a balance and waits.

Coradel cuts a glance at her for the joke, but goes back to watching Vince's every move.

Wiggling or not, there's something majestic about the Lion's moves. It is the Lioness who is the huntress, the Lion guards the pride. And yet, Vince , once in motion, shows why you do not want the King of Beasts after you. The man does not expect anyone up here. And the Lion is behind him after a second leap and were he a gazelle, a STUPIED gazelle, the man would be dead to rights

And yet, once up there, he delays... lifting a paw into the air and giving it a silent little shake, and then the other, curling it as though holding something to his mouth, and licking, licking at the air... a flicker of glamour.

Coradel can't help but be a little turned on by those muscles working so smoothly and powerfully....

The man rubs at his gun suddenly as if he wants to drop it "Fuck... what the..." He joggles the gun

And then the lion leaps forward, and is upon the man - and over the edge, a pounce, and attempt to cling to his mouse - er, the man, as they both spill down together. And as cats land on their feet, he twists so that, fate willing, he lands atop the man, with his not inconsiderate (yet NOBLE) bulk.

There's a WHUMP.. the man has no chance of using the gun, freezing to his touch as it was... and there's a Lion's weight on on his own.

He's out cold.

Wiht a Lion on him

Claire says "I admit it, even his take downs are hysterical." A whisper not wanting Vince to hear and get a swelled head

"I adore him," Coradel grins. "Let's go. We're looking for the cattle car."

He carefully bats the gun away for someone else to retrieve, then click his paw and washes his face meticulously before following. A pause to kick a few scuffs of dirt over the man, like something left behind in the sand box.

"Temerity, bind him and gag him, in case he wakes."

Temerity nods and pulls out the Duct tape

Where she got the duct tape ... well, who knows?

Coradel pauses to ruffle Vince's mane. "You're wonderful, Whiskers."

A rumbly lion purr. He knows it.

And they search for the cattle car

They hear them before they see it. Hear curses, cries and groans. the clink of chains

Before getting too close, Coradel has had the riders dismount and stake their steeds in the dark shadows of nearby overgrowth and trees. She gestures for them to keep low as they approach.

Foruantely, fae steeds are as smart as dogs (But not Fae dogs, Oak would point out) and know to stay.

And they move close and quiet... Temerity has become a mouse

Any other visible guards?

Vince paces, uncertain about whether to take on his human form or not, and finally settles on bringing up the rear on paws.

Oh yes. They see a guy with a club... pacing back and forth.

And... then something winds from another area they missed entirely...

shadows, moving, twisting, taking form

Coradel nods to draw attention, first to the man and then to the shadow, making sure everybody sees both. Then she taps Temerity in her mouse form to get close to the man, subdue him if possible.

She waits a moment more to watch the shadow, to see what it does.

Temerity moves towards the man, sneaking.. closer

and then as she does...

the shadow finishes taking shape resembling a three headed snake.. no.. a hydra!

Coradel immediately rushes at the hydra, her sharp blade flickering into her hand.

And the battle is on!

The three headed hydra snaps and snarls as an arrow flies into it's neck, missing it's eye. Leonora curses. Claire moves with sword and shield side by side with the Baroness...

With both Sidhe tackling the Hydra, Vince moves forward towards the sound of rattling chains...

He observes Temerity, now full grown, fighting the man with a club

He hesitates, gauging if she needs help- she IS a knight and a warrior.

She is in danger, mortal danger, he is bigger, taller,.. so naturally she's having the time of her life

"Have at thee! Now thee have at me! No no, more grrr, less uhm..."

And a glance over at Coradel and Leonora - monster handled neatly by the two Fiona?

Cordel swings and brings her blade to... the head of the hydra thrashes biting down on ehr hand and causing Coradel to drop her blade!

Even as Claire shoves her own sword into the shadow

Something smells like sour milk and old socks

She starts to cry out in anger at the bite, but clamps her teeth down to stifle the sound. She pulls her hand back towards her, forcing the Hydra head close to her, and tries to wrap her free arm around its neck to choke it.
