BIC: Much to her frustration, there are words lost. The lazy tongue born of Iberia is not hers... the French helps at times, as does her English, but... only a little. He is clearly making a sales pitch. The word 'Coronavirus' is used. Interesting. He stirs their emotions, their greed up... and their frustration.

These are sponsors... needing a dark glove to wear so that deeds of filth will be done without their names attached. He offers himself as that glove.

"Velvet, you do not happen to speak Spanish?"

She whispers, albeit it slowly "Si. Yo hablo español. No soy más que un novato, pero aprendí en clase."

She leans... and listens

"There are factories.. begging for help in the North?" SHe says slowly even as he talks

"He says he can make it work. He can put the women into.. entertainment, and production..." She shivers "The way he said entertainment did not sound savory. He promises they will make 3 fold what they invested...and no one connected to them"

She frowns "I think he's comparing ...yes, he's saying something about just because the deer are shy or scared, it doesnt' stop wolves from needing to eat, and they are wolves. He will lead them to a good hunt."

The stroking of the ego of this cabal seems to be working, some chuckle, some don't, but all seem to agree. They are the best, above the common man. it is worse than the sidhe, at least the sidhe have a noblese oblige, these sons of Adam and daughters of evil see no obligation but to their own pocket book

And the others nod

"By working through PIoneer Trucking.. I think that's an official name, they have the cover they need. And not to worry, he has ways of hiding whole trucks from Border patrols."

She wipes her brow

"Arrogant ass."

Then the money starts flowing.. through private mediums, Bitcoin, off shore fictional companies...

And others congratulating him for proof of concept.

Causing Velvet to realize "he's done this before.. this isn't a new venture, this is expanding ... I don't know how many other women are already his prisoner slaves"

"And there's some mention of a 'casino' making more money closed than it ever did open?"

And the cantrip ends.

"Feh."

"What a wretched and disgusting beast," Velvet says

"That he is."

"Not everyone in that room looked Mexican, I don't mean the stereotypes of skin color, for that nation too has it's diversity, I mean the clothing styles. A few looked Russian. "

"Feh."

"Well, yes." She blushes not as famililar with Feh "But I thought it was of interest"

"It is a good observation, aye."

She nods cheered by that praise, "Shall I leave this copy with you, Miss Zara? Or did you memorize it?"

"Leave it, if you have your own."

A blush "I might have made more than one copy" Pegged

"Wise."

She gathers up the tea, "Then, thank you for this visit." Good practice for the young to accept their tea invites now and then.

"The pleasure and honor was mine, Squire." A bow.

And returned... yes. Zara might be gregarious, but she has overcome her flaw, or rather, made it work for her enough, that other sluagh seek her approval. It is but a taste of the respect Zara will have in her wizened crone years, but, well, somethings need not be rushed.
