A young pooka pup girl wags her tail, and straightens her easter bonnet. Her bare feet go arounds about the hold and set up snares what are ready to launch flower petals and blooms at people.

She sneaks into the healer's room, and lays an extra powerful trap ready snare a possum in flowers and candy

"Bon Chance, little star eyes" the puppy whispers and bounces out tail wagging

This fine Easter, the little puppy pooka has bounced around and watched. As people get pummeled with petals and blasted with blossoms

as they search for eggs

Emma has certainly rolled with it, and has stuffed her pockets with candy to share!

The little puppy Pooka walks up , and yes, she looks oddly famililar "y'all got sweet crawdad crunchies?"

"Crawdad crunchies? Hmm, hmm..." Pocket searching. "Oui!" She offers out a mini-payday bar.

"Oh " she takes it 'I sure lke the way they pinch" ANd bites down, then says "My gradpappy always said 'darn revenuers'... but he also said to pay it sideways..." And she offers a twizzler in return

"Ohhh, these are the worst! Snake-guts!"

"Course, possums EAT snakes..." She takes a bite!

"You're powerful brave, ma'am, taking on that monster... " A smile "You scuse me, I got to check on my grandpappy and make sure he ain't all muffiied"

"allonsy!"

"Pass by, Star Eyes" a wave and she goes 'that way' whether Emma wants to or not

A little head-tilt.

She wanders off and behind a bush...

And in short order, a possum bumbles after the childling... at a "stealthy" distance.

And sure enough, she finds the puppy pooka with the oddly familiar tail pattern and cajun accent walking up to a grump dog pooka. He is clearly of poodle stock, dressed like an old french gentleman of court whose glory days are long beyond him. His fur has gone gray tinged ...and there is something familiar about him too

"Grandpappy, You coullion! You knew better than that. Now, go put some ice on it.” She holds out a half of a broken wish bone, "Should never no how ... coulda choked."

The old pooka poodle says "If I'd have told you" His accent is not Cajun, "You might have said... go fish" but he reaches into a vest and pulls out the other half of the wish bone, "Did you have fun this Arbor Day?"

"I got to romp and chase the slowest chickens in the world" she assures "And met this great thespian lady, plays at the bay yooo theater? Why her death scenes are the best in every Parish ever was..." The puppy says and waves her half bone more fierce, then hugs him, then waves again.

Emma watches from a hidey-spot.

The old poodle pooka grunts a bit tenderly as he's hugged, but puts an arm on her "Well, I hope you didn't offer her free food. Thespians are ravenous and might follow you home, mamselle" Then he lines his part of the bone up against hers.

And then he says "The magic of the day is nearly spent, I gave up my youth for Lent, lended it was, and now return it must. Back to the pudding for me, for you pie crust."

There's a whirling swirling sense of flowers and candy and the sound of rabbits thumping feet in the woods.. even though there aren't any woods right nearby but rather a garden...

and the bone grows whole... and energy flows from the cajun puppy girl... to the old poodle... and with it.... their seemings shift

and Enri blinks, a young pooka pup blushing at the horrible horrible trick she played on this old lady. "You gonna bite me now?"

Aunt Poppy steadies herself against the bench, and scootches the boy over, then hugs him, "Ben Suir, with big old teeth"

The possum bumbles out, and headbutts Enri's shins.

"ack" He says alarmed "Shinbushed! I surrender!"

Then he looks down, "Oh.. uhm...you can't prove anything and I plead the Myth"

Aunt Pappy smiles "She didn't learn no snooping from MY Side of the family, no sir"

And the possum climbs up to claim Poppy's lap.

Enri scratches her back, while Aunt Poppy skritches under the chin of the possum

Possums don't purr, but she seems supremely content.

"If we keep scratching, will she melt?" Enri says with that typical worried tone

"Oh hun, she's cajun, take more than this to make a girl from the swamp land melt away entire... ain't just the heat, it's the humanity" A smile

Happy Emma. She might be asleep - or faking it.

"Thespians" Aunt Poppy tuts

Is that a grin?

"From the Isle of Thespos," Enri nods

"Huh, I did notice a lot of feminine energy from Oddwald" Aunt Poppy says "Suppose I have to change with the times"

THe pooka puppy says "It's the twenty something century, and we're out of closet space"

It was a good easter
