August regards her without expression for a moment. Then he smiles softly.

"he always says that" Leo says

"I'll take it as praise," Siv says then smiles "Thank ye both. I must be off to talk to Jonas again."

Leo says "Be back in time for Patrols"

August shoves that annoying front-cowlick off his face and combs his fingers through his hair. "Good luck, Captain."

Leonora fusses, "Here, let me"

And Siv waves and is gone

"What?" Apparently the 'shove' method usually serves.

"Just , here.." She runs her fingers through it, plays with it.. so she can 'help'

He accepts this.

Leo enjoys it and when it's done, it's just how the ladies like it.

"Done"

"Thank ... thank you."

"You're welcome" She says "How are you doing, August?" She asks "It seems Banner House activity is somewhat curtailed with social distancing"

"The Love Locks bridge is still fruitful. We are... building for the future. How are you?"

"Actually, having some fun. Dad and I have been hitting the fund raiser trail for medical needs and so on... mortal galas are DULL compared to Fiona ones, but I like dad, and the time is... well, it's productive. I also fought off a nightmare chimera on a hospital roof"

He is concerned, but.... he nods. " You are well?"

"Minor injures, patched up fast," She assures, "Emma knows her cures. Though I'm not sure the part where I had to sing "Flinstone Kids, 10 million strong and growing" was really a part of the bunk or she just wanted to see if she could get me to sing it"

August seems puzzled too but.... "Good."

"Emma's a joy. Did you see her at the greening?"

"A bit, yes."

He smiles softly. "I am grateful to her for her help."

Then in a lower tone, "I'm worried about her Aunt Poppy. She's a sweet old lady but seems to flicker out fast."

"What?" Concern.

"I think she's going to forget herself as soon as she leaves this place." Leonora says "Or she might."

"Can we not make a place for her here?"

"Maybe, it wasn't meant to be permanent, just during the virus stuff... but suddenly Emma's disappearances make sense. She's not just visiting family, she's tending her... I was thinking of asking the Baroness if we could make it permanent. Delores has everyone helping out alrelady in the short term"

"I would suport that."

"Thanks. I guess I'll make the suggestion... and.. I think Emma's okay with it?"

"I could not say. But you might speak with the Steward and Coradel."

"I will. " She kisses him on the cheek "My turn to head off. I'll let you know how it goes"

And off she goes

Earl admits it "yes, maybe I should get hit on the head more often"

A slight smile "Four paintings, all of them winners... just saying."

"Aye, let's not pursue that path again - nu? Besides, we go to Scarsdale this week..."

"Yes, we do." He nods and kisses her, "Your mom and dad will be thrilled. Uncles too."

"Oh, thrilled aye..."

"Hirim and Rachamin, cooped up in the same house for a month? Why, forget the Great Bathroom Shelf Debacle of 09..."

"Ah.. you mean they've actually been isolated... for.. for real? I'm walking into a pressure cooker of nocker dom?"

"Yeeeeeup."

"Jersey has been hit worse than out here."

"It's not the virus that worries me, Changelings can cheat around that, it's your uncles with pent up need for a new target that isn't their beloved niece"

"Oh, I am not safe from being a target..."

"hmmm you, they might lecture. Me? I'll be lucky if Hirim doesn't start pondering how to use my blue hide for a suede upholstery"
