She does smile a bit

A sweep of her hand towards the pooka. A 'go on' motion.

A snap of Vashti's fingers, and Zara is startled to see aand FEEL a chimerical slug on her! It has a beatific smile of a sort on it, and it's running over her arm... adding purple, purple, the fuddled Vasthi can't see. Just as Zara couldn't see thanks to the veil.. until it was dropped just now

She takes the slug in her hands. "Oh, aren't you a thing..."

And she gently deposits it on the pooka.

"Now why is this little dry nut not working on thee? I.. oh! Treachery! "" A Purple bloth on the pale sister

and Zara may find herself explaining about the fuddle...

"It must be... it.. oh, sister, it worked, but I wished to prank thee!"

"Oh, " a soft laugh "And so veiled threatds and befuddling sibling play occur... why one might almost think you were a clever witch instead of the inculpable and naive waif I know" And vashti gives her a hug

A soft chuff of laughter. "So it seems." And she allows the fuddle to drop. Lilac!

The slug now moves between them and looks about curiously. Vashti whispers and looks about the place "Are they not all glorious?"

"Where did you get the slug?" Earl says at the amazing creature

"I too have my escapades, Jarl," She says even as she gazes at Zara "Oh this lavender travesty before me....like dusk by the dark river.. how illfitting"

"My Uncle would be a dim light in a sea of stars."

A sheepish look, almost as if 'caught' at the mention of an uncle

Eyebrow.

"Let us just say vats have many odd things in Scarsdale"

SHe is blushing

Earl blinks then "I think she got the slug or the colors of it, partly from your uncle"

"Ahhh..."

"it was to dye for" She says sheepishly, now as purple as her sister, well, a slightly different hue

"Oof." At the pun, but a smile. "Now, should we have tea in the garden and watch the rainbow?"

"Oh yes, please. But we must be cautious, my paramour has tried to slip in dribble tea cups. I had him executed, of course" A sigh

Earl smiles "I'll get some trusted cups"

And soon, the two ladies (or two ladies and Earl if they invite) have fine tea on the green as they admire the green, and blue, and polka dotted and spotted and ..well
