Siv herself grabs another rope, and swings easily to August's side, "See? There are ropes to swing on, narrow bridges where you can fall from if you're not careful...with soft landings."

He nods. "Challenging."

Soft is, of course, relative, "Some of the surfaces are rigid, others have bounce or even sway" She moves along "Oh this is good. You can really bound from here" She demonstrates, and takes running start across a bridge, boucing ones and then flipping up to a higher level

The Sidhe's eyes go wide.

"Most impressive, Captain!"

"Pakour some call it, to me it was just a way to get from one part of the ship to another. I took gymnastics in high school. Watch a lot of swashbuckling movies"

"Ah." He nods. "I fear I am... rather earthbound."

"You don't seem too heavy on your feet," She assures

"I am still working on my footwork." He admits. "I did not have.... ah, standard formative training. Dame Claire has been a good teacher."

"Yeah, still hate losing to an Ailil though" She admits

"You.... are not wrong." He admits.

"She's really Seelie?" Dubious

"I have not pried." Politely.

"My soul's-son loves her."

"Well, she says she's Seelie so... " A nod "Oh, Sir Magnus, the Reeve. Handsome. Soul's son you say? You too don't seem much alike"

"We aren't." He admits gently. "He is more like his soul's mother."

"Coradel you mean? That's got to be weird, but then, Gerd is Vegard reborn. So Vali is raising his own grandpa...which is close enough to a song to be funny"

"Yes. Well, not weird really, but..... Ah."

"Oh, ah, just to be sure, do you prefer Baron when we're alone to be called? "

A shy smile. "I don't. August is fine. I never intended to be a baron."

"Heh. Lot of that sort of thing going around" Thinking of her sister, then she smiles "Well, August then, may I say your wife seems glad you are one. A baron I mean. I think she sees it as your due."

"She has expectations for me, I think."

"She loves you, she has expecations on how others damn well better respect you're her husband and a great guy in her view. As she's the boss, she's gonna get it. Good news? Seems like you earned it"

He blushes a bit. "Yes, perhaps."

"Ffft. Liams are so modest"

"I am more than honored by her attention."

"I'm glad. I love a good love story" She smiles

The gentle man smiles. "She is my Soul Mate."

A nod, "Can I ask you a prying question about someone else?"

"I may not have an answer, but of course."

"Have you and Zara talked since that awkward tea I saw? and if so, are things patching up? " Hopeful

"Ahem. Yes. Thank you."

Her face breaks into a smile, "Tell me no more then, lest she appear and hiss that I'm being too big a buttinski or whatever the Yiddish word is. But I am glad to hear it. Thank you"

The baron flushes.

"My apologies. I don't understand your meaning, Captain."

"Ah. Which part did you not understand? " Confused

A deep breath. "She is a private person."

"That's waht I was saying" She says

"Yes."

"Then, I'm confused on what you didn't understand since it sounds like we both agree she's a private person." Siv admits

"We .... both are. I think. Captain."

Siv shrugs "Oh well, miscommunications happen I suppose. Sometimes it's best just to move on. Anyway, I am glad you two got a chance to talk and that it seemed to help. " A curious look "Do you do that to your hair on purpose or does it just happen?"

"What?"

"The.. little curl right there?" She points "Spit curl? Like Superman is in your family line?"

He shoves the hair away. "An annoyance."

"Just happens. And, if I may advise? Don't you ever try to remove it. The Baroness would pout for weeks"

He clears his throat. "Yes. Thank you. Ah.... excuse me?"

"Oh, I'm keeping you from something. I'm sorry." She blushes
