Part agility/obstacle course, part dueling arena, the thing is dangerously high up in points, but has ropes and sliding ramps as well for quick lowering in altitude.

There are hoops and tunnels to clamber through, there are narrow bridges and platforms sized for two and a half (the half because some trolls are big). Reinforced not just to take weight, but weight with force. folks are going to be leaping on this thing.

On a quiet Thursday morning, a gray ball of fur happily bumbles along... daintily climbing a rope, worbling along a narrow beam, happily traversing a tunnel.... what a keen playground this is!

In the garden, someone is singing in a deep magnificent voice. No doubt Horace the gardener

The bundle of fur might hear a soft Thud of troll feet landing near the tunnel, as Siv declares "It's perfect!"

A pinkish nose pops up, whiskers twitching.

Siv blinks a bit startled but not spooked "What.. oh! Hi"

The possum's mouth gapes in a "smile." A very toothy smile.

"You're adorable," Siv says and sits down where she is to bring her closer to the critter girl's level, "Want some trail mix?"

Ears perk!

"Got some with me in a fanny pack" She says and then advises "By the by, do not call it a fanny pack in Australia if you ever visit. WRONG word"

and she takes out a palm full of chex mix and berries

then offers it up to the pooka "If you find this patroniziing just shake your head no and I'll apologize or what not"

A shrug and she happily takes some berries to stuff in her mouth.

"Fair enough," A grin "This is gonna be great fun to fight on. Duels, swords play."

A rasberry.

"Well, I guess it will also be fun for possum trotting, which I did not think of , but I'm glad it works for you," She adds "I don't know, at least when I'm dueling with the Baroness I'm feeling more like myself mostly."

Head tilt - oh, surely, it's easy to talk to the little critter. No judgement. (And adorable ears)

The young baron of bannerhouse Truthbranch wanders through the garden, nose in a schoolbook.

Which get a scratch with a free hand while the others more berries. "I don't know what it is with me. I feel like I'm expected to do Rivervale proud, but I also need to be fearless at all times and get with the program already. Back home I was the chatty one, the reckless one, here I get the worry I'm -" A sigh "Like I'm some sort of social deficient"

She doesn't see August yet, and keeps talking "I gave my boyfriend space to approach me, but I also admited I was a bit afraid of hurting hsi feelings, and this upset the baroness a lot."

Headbutt of Reassurance.

"And I can see why," She smiles at the headbutt "It was cowardly of me. How am I suppose to join a house fearless if I get all chicken of the sea? But I think I'd be GOOD as a Fiona, if I can just get out of my own way. But it alwahys feels like... I'm being judged. I mean, I should be judged, it's an evaluation, but I feel like if I breath wrong I lose poiints with either the baroness or with.. well" A glance to the trods

August adroitly avoids a garden bench without looking up.

She pats Siv's knee.

"Thanks, Emma. I.." A blink "is that Baron August? Crap . Hope he didn't hear"

There is no evidence that he has heard anything outside the book in his head.

"Looks like he didn't hear," Siv whispers to Emma "Good. He's cute. I can see why the Baroness likes him. I kind of want to give that little spit curl a tug."

NOD NOD

"I wonder if I could get a spit curl in Jonas' hair? Oh well, I should say hi," And she holds up a hand "August! Baron, how are you today?"

He looks up when addressed. "Oh! Hello, Captain." A pleasantly handsome smile.

The possum sits up on her haunches and waves.

"Oh, is that Emma? Hello!"

"Yes, Emma has discovered that this Dueling stage and course is also fine possum path material. Something I didn't not begin to think of." Concession "But the more the merrier. How are you today, Baron?"

"I am well." He looks over the course. "This is impressive! Ah. Where did it come from?"

"Where there's a Dougal or two there's a way" Siv says "The Baroness and I got into a somewhat gymnastic sparring match. I made a comment about how it woudld be nice to have a set up for adcrobatic swashbuckling and dueling and she agreed. But it was Dame Agingcourt and Dame Honora who made it happen."

"Ahhhh...." Understanding. "Yes, I see."

"I'm sure they had help with construction to get it up so quick, but still, isn't it grand?"

"It is, most impressive!"

He takes a moment to tour it around from the ground, examining.

It looks solid, but airy, he's seen similar at some camps but this is next level stuff.

"Very impressive." He confirms.

"You ought to get up here... " She says "Loads of fun"

"Ah. Well." He tucks the book carefully under his arm and climbs up.

Emma, so helpful, demonstrates - scaling a beam, crossing a rope, and hanging from it by her tail about midway.

"Great, now I have tail envy"

"Ah." He looks at Siv, trying to parse what she means.

"I mean, extra limb? Handy" Siv says noting a look, "And such skill at it's use, Emma" Admiring

"Yes, indeed." With a certain amount of relief.

She preens!
