The end of a school-week, and Coradel is getting Samson re-settled in the EarthRunes stables. He has been a solid trooper when it comes to commuting with her for school, and she rewards him with a careful and attentive grooming.

Siv shows up, is it possible for a girl that young to have a vein in her forehead pulsing?

And she bows

Coradel doesn't pause in her attentions to Samson, but does nod her head. "Captain Siv. How are you faring?"

"Well, I suppose Sir Bachdion told you that I would be staying here instead of going back and forth? At least for awhile?" Seh's not sure how long 'awhile is' , weeks? Month? more? But Siv doesn't mention that

"Yes. Very sensible. Trollishly so." Is that a teasing glimmer in her eye?

"I have to ask for a postponement on this, and not to stay at the lodge." A breath "A lodge sister wants to go on a quest for her mother's sake, and they need a ship. I have one. I know the seas. And, it is for love"

That makes her pause. She regards the Fiona-hopeful. "A quest? Tell me more."

"There is an island with trolls, hardly perfect I assure you. Dagmar's mother, via adoption but loves her more fierce than a bear with a cub, once lived there, as did her mother who died there...she was a wood carver extrodinaire. She made this mask... it apparently is not destroyed, and has a chance of being found. We mean to find it, and return it to Tove, who is pregnant and cannot come, and restore a part of her lost heritage. By doing this I help Dagmar as well who, can be a pain in the ass, but is as good a hearted a lass as I've ever known and I care for her deeply"

"Hm. A quest for love of family...." She mulls this over, brushing rhythmically at Samson's coat.

"Tove is amazing, she's... a fantastic singer, a skilled wood carver, and not a bad cook, though honest to gosh, you want a test of courage tell her to make something extra spicy. She's declared a war on bland food"

An amused look. "I'll keep that in mind. And your role in this quest is...what? Chauffeur?" Her tone is challenging.

"Captain of the Ship they need to get there, navigator of the reefs that guard the harbors, and one who knows the seas of the Dreaming better than some know how to walk in their own back yard." Chin lift "There are others who can do this, I admit. There are none I know of who do it better. If you pardon me being immodest but honest, baroness"

"Yes, well...." A shrug. "We shall see. " She puts away the soft brush, and takes out a wide-toothed comb to work on the horse's mane. "To make this quest worth the time away from your training, I must ask you to return with one of two things: either a story of your bravery in battle, or a treasure rare and wonderful. And no, the mask you describe doesn't count...that's for this other girl's mother. Bring something back for EarthRunes...or you must quest again until you do so. Is that understood?"

A bit of a smile, then a bow "Yes, Baroness. I shall try to find something that fits the decor."

"I assumed that was a given." A nod in return. "When do you depart?"

"From the way they were going on? As soon as possible. I hope it will not be long , regardless." A pause "I do enjoy my lessons." A sigh "Though I fear they think Sir Bachdion is tutoring me in ways that he is not"

"He's not?" She gives the girl a look. "Well, would you like him to? That's certainly part of the curriculum we'll need to explore."

"...one way or another."

A blush "I am told it is not..requiredk, and my boyfriend is oddly traditional for a reformist. "

A look of distaste. "Traditional, in the sense of prudish?"

"In the sense of monogomous" She answers honestly "I am told some Fiona are. At least among trollish Fiona. "She blushes lightly Course, there was that thing with Piper on Samhain and him and.. but what happens in Samhain stays in Samhain

The blush doesn't go unnoticed. "And this is okay with you?"

"I lean that way myself. So.. yes. I am told by Sir Bachdion that some Fiona are....so restrained and it is not a disqualifer" A bit nervous that the baroness might disagree

"Well...I don't completely understand it...but I'm not about to disagree with my mentor's expertise." She sighs and regards Siv. "I happen to think you have enough charisma and sex appeal that you could use it to great advantage in political arenas...or in more subtle intrigues...if you were trained up to it. Still...that's certainly only one avenue, and no, not a requirement."

A blush for a different reason "Thank you. I.. really? Huh. " A pleased look "Thank you. Nice to know you think I could"

"Well,l with a bit of work, yes." An off-hand clarification. "You know...it's perfectly common for you to learn the various nuances of sexual arts with your lover. Bachdion could guide you, or I could. Or I suppose we both could."

"You know, you maybe onto something.. if Jonas is feeling possessive, the least he can do is suck it up and take a few classes with me so to speak. I'll talk to him about it" She says "He'll be mortified, but I think in the long run we'd BOTH thank you" A nod "i've..learned al itlte. I had an unseelie sidhe as a lover once. It's how I learned that sex could be.. very nice iwthout love..great in fact... but I prefer it with"

Coradel smiles. "I didn't think you were so puritanical as to have only taken one lover. Good. And yes...sex as a physical exercise is great fun and often thrilling...but great sex with great love is incomparable."

Envious look "I Hope he's the one that..well, you know"

"Well...." Coradel sighs and puts away the comb, stroking the nose of the now-drowsy Samson. "You know the tales of House Fiona, Captain. At least some of them. Our great loves often come at great costs, or we must take great pains to earn them. Prepare yourself for that likelihood."

"I think I am, but I shall not be so arrogant as to claim certainty." She says "May I go and prepare for the quest then, baroness?"

"You may." She nods and dismisses the troll.

Siv bows again, and walks away with some dignity untill almost out of sight, she breaks into a run to get to the trod and help her lodgemate

Leaving the Baroness with the amusing notion of two slightly embarrased trolls taking lessons while she or Bachdion inform them how to do things more better sexier
