A curious look, then a nod "Check the library, never know when she'll be in."

And the satyr heads off to make that call, leaving August and his book alone... for now

Velvet sighs "i'm sorry I'm not miss zara, Baron. you seem very sad not to have her here."

"Velvet!" Startled but not shouting. "I.... ah. Well." Sheepish. "She has been a good friend for years."

"yes." A nod, "and a fine librarian and good role model for a sluagh such as myself," A pause, "An unfortunate tendency towards verbosity, but stylish in it."

"She is." Softly fond.

"Of course you overheard.... You may, Velvet, but I don't want you directly involved."

"understood, baron, and obeyed" she inclines her head. "I'll not speak to any of them"

And Velvet vanishes

"Today??" He stands. "Yes, if needful. Is there anything I should know? Or bring?"

"Just don't reveal anything bout the hold, I would trust this lady, but there are those who hunt her, and if they caught her, and tortured her, she might be made to talk. It's unlikely, but ever better safe than sorry. "

"And I don't think you need anything ,bring your sword if the unexpected happens, but ..that's really it"

August nods, gears up, and he is ready to go.
