The guards beat on the 'prisoners' fuddled into confusion, and warn them if they try to escape again they'll get it worse

Meanwhile, the real prisoners..well, escapees now, are in the hall they came through past the secret door.

Mr. Pyck talks to one young wilder woman "Later we're going to have a talk about procedure."

"Yeah yeah yeah... " She says "Thanks for the rescue."

"We're enot out yet..." A sluagh whispers warning

"Aye, indeed."

Mr. Pyck introduces everyone by code names "You folks are coming out with us. Gingerbread, got the cookies?"

"Don't I always?" Healing cookies to refresh and restore are offered, in cluding one that must have been prepared so it would decay properly.

"eat that drek while you move, or we'll furking die" FawkeU snorts

"This going to be such a grand story" Boondoggle grins

"I would imagine. One of persistence, nu?"

"I loathe that damnable oath."

Mutters of agreement, some a bit more profane than others . Mr. Pyck nods "It's something we fight all our lives against." They move through the cargo door. Then a voice calls out , not near, but loud so all can hear it

"Intruders at the front gate, Guards, guards!"

Only, they are not near the front gate

Pyck glances over "FawkeU? This your doing?"

"No.. great distraction though"

"it's not a distraction, not intentional" Pyck curses, "Someone else tried to rescue them...amateurs. They're in the shit now. "

"Dammit."

"Raven, you guide the six out with Gingerbread and FawkeU," He says "Boondoggle, you're with me. We're gonna pull a BLOOM Boom"

Megara the satyress who just got saved, "Boss, are you nuts? Two of you?"

Dalton raises a brow, "Raven's got you.. she knows the way and she's got the magical power to counter if the noble shows. Do't worry, I got ideas" He taps his head, "We'll buy the rookies a chance to back out"

And the six follow Raven, Gingerbread, and FawkeU, who does hand a few goodies to his boss before he goes too.

Zara and the others guide them back, trusting Mr. Pyck to get his part of the job done with Boondoggle's aid. From what she's seen, Zara believes it. This is one smooth group.

She is still needed, throwing veils here and there, covering tracks, and they head towards the docks.
