"I think we literally danced until dawn..."

"I'm glad you think so. I'll be gladder if you help make sure of it." She winks at Delores. "Now...what's the next bit of mayhem that I need to attend to?" She claps her hands together, looking ready for a challenge.

"my feet are wonderfully sore, if such a term can apply" The Dougal agrees "Your troubadours are wonderful. They know every genre"

"Oh, they do. We put them through their paces..."

"Oh, yes, I'm delighted with them. And they do like a good challenge!"

"Or they put us through ours... well, one of those."

Delores says "Well the 'king' is set for some mutual torment from a contest..."

"Good. What a vile man."

"I'll give praise to the Troubadours, I think they're feet are stronger than mine, but it was a happy defeat." A pause "De Feet. Oh dear. I've punned"

"Oh, yes, indeed. Hmm...do we have some way to tracking his escapades? I should ask our troubadours to craft an epic of his adventures."

"We have all the information collected on him ,and Dame Honoria GPSed his car at my request" Delores says

"A Dougal gets it done" Gowdeen blurts, then says "Apologies. House indoctrination is a hell of a thing"

"Well, yes. But we forgive."

"Well-earned, in this case!"

A velvet chuckle from the golden eyed baroness "Thank you, Sparrow. and I'd agree, of course, Baroness. Your Honoria's mechanical griffin is amazing by the way"

"Honoria is a wonder. Too serious, sometimes..."

"She is a magnificent crafter, yes. Truly gifted."

"Now that's a hazard of our House." She says "But she might be having more fun than you think. Sometimes we work away in a work shop for hours. I'm quite the party killer if I get an urge to work with silver or gold instead of going out" Gowdeen says "it's hard to explain. The vision is so more real than what's going on here and now at times"

Delores looks at her list "Oh, the gallery was redone as you liked, but now I understand you're on the look out for two more art pieces? Statuary or paintings?"

"Hmmm....well, I will check in on my Dreamer, and see if she has anything new. But if not, then perhaps a sculpture."

"I have a classmate you might like..."

"Oh? I know you're telling your mother, but if you reccomend them I'm curious too" Gowdeen says

"She works in bronze, mostly... figurative work, graceful, textured..."

"oh" her eyes, artificial as they are, widen "I would love to see what she does, well you know, as much as I might"

"A Dreamer, Deryn?"

A slow nod. "She is."

"Maybe you could touch them?"

"I hope you are musing her, before somebody else might claim her?"

"Oh I've felt sculpture, fine sculplture has an almost sensuous feel"

"A bit, yes... I don't know so much about "claiming." She's my friend."

"Then it would be an act of friendship to claim her. That would protect her from predators."

"She has a practical point," Gowdeen admits to Sparrow "Though, if you trust me? I might be able to muse some out of her too. Inspire her ,teach her a few things?"

"I... I just don't like the idea of claiming someone."

An intrigued look from Gowdeen to Sparrow.

"It seems..." A winged shrug. "I would protect her from ravagers, but should I protect her from inspiration ?"

"Deryn...do you think you're not capable of musing her properly?"

"By musing her, you would help her find inspiration, not keep her from it."

Gowdeen looks tempted to say something but keeps silent

Her feathers fluff, then slick.

"I don't... I don't usually foster artists..."

She looks at the dynamic between the two of them. "I seem to be missing something...."

"And if someone else can inspire her, why.. why should I stop them?"

"And if they do, and she blossoms, should I claim the bounty? No..."

"i was about to say something about House LIam, and then realized that I would be speaking to one who has a Liam Trueheart, and to another who IS a Liam." A blush from Gowdeen "Rather presumptive if me If I did"

"It can help to see an outsider's perspective, perhaps," Coradel nods to Gowdeen.

Sparrow tenses, sitting up and drawing slightly away.

A little hint of a frown at Sparrow's sudden tension.

"just that, House Liam has its high ideals about mortals period, and dreamers specifically, so maybe that would explain a strong aversion to any talk of 'dibs' about a person, even if meant for their own good. On the other hand, I certainly don't see any crime in Sparrow trying if she'd like and I think she'd be good at it. I was also going to apologize if I seemed ah.. to be horning in" a nod to Sparrow

She chews on her lip but slowly nods. "I think you could appreciate mundane sculpture, it would be tactile. I can see if she'd allow you to touch it."

Coradel listens and nods, a gesture unconsciously similar to Sparrow's. "I can see what you're saying. Well...at any rate, I'd very much like to see her work, if you can arrange it, Deryn."
