"The closest good school is in the City, but..." A soft noise of distress. "That would be a train every day, packed full..."

Earl takes Zara's freehand "I know, it's hard to think on what you want more."

"Maybe there's a trod we don't kknow about yet at one of the colleges that might make it a better choice than it would be ordinarily? We can keep our eyes open"

Another aborted move to comfort. "So... is it the distance, or the class sizes, or... or the academic program... which is most important?"

"...I want to be a librarian."

A very fond smile. "The academic program then. Probably not UMKC; I checked, there's no Library sciences program there."

"I'd suggest finding the three best academic programs for library sciences, and then sort again by the next ranking priority. But, that's me; you might find a different way to make your choice."
