He seems entranced.

She looks at him again, and whispers, "August...."

"Mm?"

"...eat." Her eyes twinkle.

"Ah." He looks at the fork as if it had just appeared, and does so. "Mmm." He nods slowly, locking eyes with her.

She continues as well, but meets his gaze again. "It was a very long week, my love. I'm glad you're home."

It's a special occasion so make it a lime in his water.

"Not, ah, not -too- long, I hope?"

A curious smile. "Define too long." Another bite as she listens.

"You said Vince was feeling better?"

"He is," she confirms, the curious smile not leaving even as she takes another bite.

He nods. "Good."

"Sir Bachdion never got sick, right? Satyr stamina, and all."

Bite.

"In the meadow we can build a snow man..." The music has since changed

"If he did, he hid it well." A nibble.

August nods. "Well, I hope he is in good health." Eating.
