Emma is raking leaves. She'd rather play with them, but ther'es supposed to be a garden under here somewhere

She whistles as she works... and, rather than a pile, she is making a looping spiral design on the sere grass.

The pattern works out nicely, it's almost meditative

then one of the flowers, freed from the leaves and not dead yet, roars! It stirs, and it's petals are shaped like a mighty dragon

"Eek!" Emma scatters and hides behind a shrubbery to stare at the flower.

It flaps leaf like winngs and spews it's mighty breath weapon, fresh floral scent!

It glares about with it's vicious floral eyes.

"Snapdragon! My stars and garters!"

It appears it defies this coming winter for this is its lair!

"hiss roar" It says... if you were a grasshopper this would be quite loud

She creeps up on it. "Oh, you're cuter than one of those watermelon babies..."

Snarl rend destroy! okay, so its claws are not even real thorns, and its breath is mostly just sweet smeling, but by gum...it will

"Aw, ain't you just the most vicious vermin there is, cher... there now..." She finds some mulch to deposit by its roots.

Its mulch! A pastoral purr as its hoard is added to. Oh yes

"Bon-bon, non?" She arranges the leaves around the dragon in a little outline of a "fort" with acorn adornments.

The Snapdragon is pleased. Perhaps it will spare this maiden.

For last.

And Emma dances off for other "duties." The sidhe might not be entirely prepared for the whimsical turn of the formal garden, but Delores has noticed the verdant, if... exuberant... herbal garden near the kitchens, banked with insulation for cold weather.

the satyrs at least have shown an interest. One walked by with a bong and a very curious look

Well, none of that. At the moment.

But the herbs do have wonderul medical properties. It's almost as if a healer were working here. Oh wait.
