She shivers "it's a fashion show. I know it's silly,but it's for a good cause. Designers giving proceeds to charity depending on seat sales and auctions of the clothes after they're shown. "

"I'd be happy to come, if you like." He offers sincerely.

"You'll have to wear a nice suit or tux..I can loan you one"

He chuckles. "I have a suit. I'll get a tux, if you prefer."

"No, a suit will be fine. you're sure on this? It's going to be VeRY pretentious, but also beautiful"

He nods. "I'm sure." Of course he is. "You're right, it's not my usual cup of tea but nothing you ever learn is wasted. It will be a new experience."

"thanks," she takes his hands "I didn't want to go alone"

"Leonora... our arrangement means you don't have to be alone." He reminds her gently. "It's both my pleasure and my duty to escort you."

"You're nice, but as a rule I don't try to drag folks along when I think they'll be miserable." She winks "I'll try to make sure that 'pleasure' part keeps going with the duty. But I admit, I sometimes miss the high life. Among mortals that is. soi t's nice to dabble in my toes in those waters again"

"Like... high society? Balls and charity events and such?"

"I know, I get it here at Court right?"

"Well, on the Fae side yes. But I understand about enjoying time among mortals."

"Ironicaly, I'm higher placed among mortals thaan I am changelings.But ... I love being a knight . Still, it's nice being a human princess too"

"Well, you deserve to be treated as such and I'm proud to be able to."

"You're a gallant knight in both worlds yourself, sir. " She gives the time for the fashion show

He copies it down.

And she kisses him. "thanks. Hey, is there something you want to do sometime? Not fair if I always get to pick the tune"

That makes him think. "Well... " He shrugs. "To be honest, with school and all? I'll be happy if I can manage to give you the attention you're due."

"Yu are too sweet. Mmm school huh?" A smirk "Ok. I have an idea but I want to see if Coradel is on it."

"Ahh...." A little hesitantly. "On it?"

"uhm hmm" her eyes dance.

"Ahh.. okay." Oh yes, a little nervous.

August sighs, a bit long-suffering. "Okay." Accepting his fate.

She leans over and kisses him on the lips "Now, unless you'd like me to help warm your bed tonight, I should probably get to my own"

"Ah. Well. No, I, ah, I didn't plan on ... I didn't mean to keep you up, you must be tired. Hunting, and all."

"I am tired, but ... you'd be surprised what energy I can find if encouraged"

He pauses, considering... and maybe calculating. "If... if you -want-... I could walk you to your bed. Stay for a while." He offers.

"I would like that" she lowers her lashes "It does get cold in the hallways in this robe sometimes." She rises and moves to the door, pausing for him to join her

He stands and grabs the blanket from his cot. "Would you like this?" He offers to wrap it around her shoulders.

"Just till we get to your room?"

"So kind" And she allows it, tossing her hair and lifting it a litlte so he can place it just so.

He wraps it tenderly around her, and settles her hair back down on her shoulders before getting the door and escorting her to her room.

And she rather enjoys the escort,and.. if he doesn't escape her room right away well, all the better.
