Willow is troubled, "So I can't just keep her enchanted all the time?"

Oswald says "Others can explain it better, but no. If you do, it's not just a risk to the escheat, it can lead to them being dreamstruck. ALso, you're not yet sained"

"I'm starting to hate that comment" willow says jaw jutting

"If you get permission, maybe...but it's above my paygrade." Oswald says

"Welll, who would... the baroness?"

"Her? or maybe the regent..." Oswald says

"Fine. I'll find Spar..the regent" She turns and heads off

Sparrow is in the kitchen, picking at a plate of bread and cheese.

She comes into the kitchen and then, the troll stops, "Do we bow inside the kitchen too?" Willow truly seems to find it odd bowing when bread and cheese is being dined on casually

Her wings fluff. "Oh lordy, I hope not. Hi Willow. Want some cheese?"

"What type?" Curious then "oh. I didn't ..sorry..it's not about food, why I came to see you I mean"

"Um. Like three?" she inches the platter towards the troll anyhow. "What's up?"

"I'm having a hard time explaing to my sister why I'm..vanishing at odd times. I'm usually the one worrying about HER being gone, panting some building"

"Oh, yeah - that can be hard, especially with kinain. Part time job?"

"I guess, but how do I explain the bills not getting paid any better? She tried to follow me the other day"

"Well... the first answer is easy, do some work and get paid. The thanes get an honorarium, we can talk to Cora and see what we can do there..."

"The second is harder. There's not one and only one way to handle kin... like, Sally Mae is usually enchanted, but she's also an adult, and the DeBukes are... different."

"Yes, so I hear," She says "But I can't enchant her? Cordelia is... she'd love this. Her brain would explode."

"She's a Dreamer... so... " Sparrow bites on her lip. "You have to be careful - too much glamour, too much exposure can make her sick. Our first job is to protect Dreamers. Your sister is very special - not all mortals have that... spark? At least not one that is awake and shining."

"Oswald says... that she could... become Dreamstruck?"

"Yes. It's like Bedlam - sick from Glamour, where your connection to reality grows weak. Hallucinations, chaotic thoughts... you can forget such mundane concerns as sleeping or eating."

"So.. I either spend my life lying to my sister or endangering her?" Odd that trolls , so tall, can hang their heads like that

"Well, no... but you have to be very careful with long-term enchantment. You're both young, which makes it harder. First, you have to get a handle on managing your own glamour - keeping yourself balanced between bedlam and forgetting."

"I owe you, big...but..could you be the one who enchants her? show me how it's done maybe? I..." An admission "I feel stupid but this scares me"

"Don't feel stupid. You're learning - I went through the same thing. Cora's only recently sained. It takes time."

"I... maybe I could talk to Sally Mae about it. How they do it, since she seems pretty stable..."

"if it's no trouble?" Thoughtful "I was told you Liam ..Liams? Liamites? What's the plural? Were best with mortals. Lord knows Sis thought you were the bomb"

"Well, your sister is pretty cool herself." She grins, like sunshine.

"She's..yeah. sometimes I think she should have been the changeling, but dreamer suits her"

"My parents don't know I'm fae. I don't have contact with my mortal family at all. August and Coradel do, but their family doesn't know. I... believe Zara's family knows, and Magnus..."

She reaches over, tapping a horn. "You are who you were meant to be. Haven't you been protecting your sister for years?"

"I have" She lowers her head and rubs the horn "I suppose it does explain my 'bossy helicopter nature'"

A soft laugh. "Protective leadership, yes?"

"That's one way to word it" A flash of fangs in a smile "Thank you, Sparrow. I...it helps to have someone to talk to."

"I know that feeling. I had a pretty tough time adjusting... lots of reasons, really... and having people helped. My mentor was a troll, like you. And a Liam, like me."

"He sounds reliable twice over then," she nods "Someone I know?"

"Oh, I don't think you've met Frank. I'll see if I can bring him to visit - or if his work will have him out this way."

"Well, apparently I'm barred from the trods. " A shake of her head, "Back when I was 13 that would have made me WANT to go"

"You don't want to hear 'it's for your own good!' - but, well..." a shrug.

"But it is" She sighs "I've used that very term on Cordelia"

"Think of it as... training. Getting used to the world before diving in the deep end."

A nod, then "Mind if I ask something personal?"

"Should be okay. If it is too personal, well, I'll tell you?"

A nod "Everyone here seems to be..hooked up, or at least have uhm.. go to people? Well, maybe not everyone, but it's a lady's market ..." a blush "I'm actually sure I could drop a kerchef or something silly and get 2 pooka, and 3 trolls maybe a boggan to show up ...not to sound vain, it's the 'vibe' of this place I guess? Yet I don't see you with anyone. And you're THE Most beautiful creature I've seen. I mean, I'm not bi, but around you..." A blush "I'm saying this wrong. Just...how is you are not swamped with guys?"

She blushes, wings rustling a little. "Well... well, it's not really a secret... I don't...I prefer feminine company. And I'm not really looking to be in love - which is not the norm in a Fiona hold, true."

"Oh..." A nod "Well, combine that and it explains it....sorry. I just...well, like you said, it's a Fiona hold. I can't touch glamour here without feeling some bit of romance, even if once in awhile it's got an element of heartache too"

"Hearts don't care much about faces, I don't think. Not in the end."

"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but folks still do notice the ones that shine. Fortunately, there are some that are good inside too like you. I hope you find your lady, one day. You deserve it"

"I hope I get to a point where I'd be good for..." A sigh and she shakes her head. "I'm happy enough. I have my duty, and my family, and my art."

"Good for what?" The troll's brow knits "you've listened to my concerns. Clearly you have at least one of your own"
