And so it is Honoria finds herself slowing, stopping in the hall, her expression going from happy, to just... there. Stone faced. Her heart has stopped., at least it's chimerical side.

"odd. One would think I would remember" She says in a monotone voice and reaches for the key that inserts into her breast and winds. There is a click, and she turns it slowly, more clicks....and a gasp. She's not Fiona. Fear she can do. "Oh my." She looks around, feeling both embarrassed at it having happened, and...well, wondering if anyone would have bothered to convince her to try again if she had forgone it at all? She's a knight now. They shouldn't have to pamper her.

Dark eyes blink at the sidhe. "Tick-tock?"

"I.. oh, is that you, madame librarian?" The Dougal turns "yes its... part of my condition. I'm told it's rare among the house. Normally it's hands and legs or eyes or the like"

Dark eyes, tattered ears, a pink nose - Honoria does not know this pooka. "Better to have a key, then. Too many ways for a heart to grow cold without a jumper cable."

"Oh... pardon, I don't know, who you are. I'm Lady Knight Honoria ap Dougal. Are you new here?"

"As old as the dew. Maybe older! Hello Lady-Knight-Dame-Mamselle. Would you want to be friends with Emmaline? I could put in a good word." She offers out a hand.

She shakes the hand her grip firm, soemwhere between a warrior's and a mechanic's, which makes sense if you know her. SHe smiles a bit "Emmaline sounds like a very friendly person, so thank you. I have heard about you, the name I mean, you're the new healer and gardener. The Steward mentioned you. She's very organized , Delores. SHe ought to be a Dougal."

"After a fashion. Is there a house for moms? Ap Hubbard? If so, that's where she'd be. Hopefully they aren't all cursed to live in footwear..."

"Ah," a smile still "Nope. I think we can provide better than that. I'm afraid I'm not very good with plant life myself."

"Well, imagine how it would be if we were all good at the same things?" She grins, her tail held up behind her in a graceful curl. "Would you like a nice cup of cocoa-tea?"

"A drink would be nice, Jack's or the main dining area or?"

"I don't know jack. Nor Jack?"

"Well, here I'll show you..." She leads her to another area of the hold, and to a door that leads to steps down. Not a long stair way, and one can hear clinking of glasses

She bounces along beside the knight. "The more things change, they say...."

"Stay the same?" They enter into the tavern below, where a Satyr grump is cleaning glasses. There are two small tables round in nature, a larger one, and the bar itself, of course. "Hi Jack, how are you?"

"Bonjour!"

Jack does a double blink, then nods "Sorry, Lady Honoria, still not used to you being all grown up so to speak. I'm fine. Vince has some time off. But it's been slow lately. " A raised brow, "And a bon jour to you as well. Nice to meet you, I'm Jack, semi retired partly autonomous keeper of the bar here. What can I get you two?"

"Do you have any V8? Or cocoa. But not the two together, for all that beans are veggies and veggies are juice, I do not actually think they are simpatico."

"See this is where Vince comes in handy" He smiles "Two hot cocos coming up"

Two are made, and whether she really wanted hot coco or not, it's safe to say it smells so good it might change her mind. Marshmellows dance down on them like happy clouds leaping into a pool.

"Well, that is certainly cocoa!" She takes the mug and pokes one of the marshmallows with the tip of her tongue, setting it bobbing. "So! Can you go home again?"

"who are you asking?" He asks.

"The lady or the tiger? Now that's a good question."

"I think I must be the tiger" Jack says//"Well, compared to some of the Fiona I'm not very lady like," The Dougal says "Been happy to work on my Griffin." //"Oh yeah, it's all repared and such?" /"HE is yes" Sip and smile.

"A griffin!" Owl-eyed. "Does he eat mice?"

"And I thought it was an it? Now it's a he?" Jack says

"I figure he's earned it," The Dougal answers Jack first, then she assures Emmaline "Steamwing is mechochimerical, and does not eat meat."

"Or veggies for that matter" She adds awith a sip "Unless you count some fermented emergency fuels"

"Maybe I should put a new latch on the booze" Jack mutters

She giggles. "Fermented emergency fuels. My Pappy knows something about that!"

Jack chuckles "SOunds like my kind of drinking buddy then."

Honoria smiles "Mostly he's steam tech, " She looks at Emma "You should see Steamwing, he's my pride and joy. Got me off an island in the Dreaming."

"Sounds like an adventure! Why, I got stuck on an island once... but I mostly had to step REAL far to get over the creek... I nearly drowned, very harrowing, but no griffins at all!"

"Bridge tech is crucial" honoria smiles

"Do you make bridges, too?"

"I could, yes" She says "I learned a lot from Dame Agincourt, and others. Why? you need one for the garden?"

"Oh, I need many things. Good on cabbages, working on kings. Do you need bridges?" She points at Honoria's breastplate and makes a gentle arc to point at Jack.

"Ah..." confusion in her eyes , she glances at the pooka, then to jack "I don't think so?"

"I'll try not take it personally" Jack replies

"Well, there's more than one kind of bridge. Covered and draw and dental..."

"Musical" Jack throws in

"That's one kind of Bridge I can't do," She says "But you're welcome to visit my workshop and see Steamwing if you want, either of you"

"Ooo!" She touches her nose and points to the satyr. "Bodacious!"

The older satyr chuckles

"Do you like biological company, or just steam-powered?"

"I still like machines, but you need people sometimes" The dougal admits "I don't have many ...I haven't socialized much. So.. yes, please visit. I could show you now if you like?"

"Lay on, Macduff! Come, Jack Daniel! Let's see a griffin!" She scoops up her mug.

"Sure, I can close up the Tavern until Vince returns.." He puts things away.

"Oh, wait till you see" She says "His design is very eco friendly and.." She rattles as she shows the way
