She isn't even looking at him yet. "Where is Squire Colton's star?"

"His is over there..." Not the same flare, but a streak has appeared, almost like a comet

"Interesting." She nods slowly, looking at the other symbols. She seems to have other questions about the chart...but restrains herself and sets them aside. "Sir Almandine, I have a question for you. I'd like to do something for Sir August, something wonderful. Bachdion suggested that you might know of some...some treasure of House Liam that I might quest for, or perhaps a rare text he might appreciate?"

"That's a tall order" he says

Then a bit of a grin. "I know, terribly blunt and direct of me, as well."

"Would you have any...any hint of where I might start looking for such a thing?"

"A moment," He touches a wall and it slides open, "While Sir August and Miss Zara have NEAR monopoly on books, I have taken the liberty of having a few from my own private collection brought in. Ones I thought might be useful to certain studies. Where is that one on House Liam?"

He digs around and goes "Ah ha," And opens up one in rather hide cover

She steps closer, but not so invasive as to peer over his shoulder.

"Let's see... mmm..." He takes some notes down

"oh.. I'm not sure you'd be interested in this... it may belong to someone else but I think if I'm right, it's of interest to you, and Sir August." He hands her the notes he copied.

She carefully takes the notes and peers at them closely (Seers often have such spidery handwriting....)

She reads...and then her eyes go quite wide, and a hand flies to cover her mouth. She goes over it once again...then turns to stare at the Seer. "This. Yes."

"May I keep the notes? Or...might you make a copy for me?"

"Keep them, eep them close" He advises, "You do understand the risks? yes?"

She nods slowly. "I believe I do. But this...it must be found. Recovered."

"It is rumored to have some power, though there are more powerful treasures out there if you think the Scribe would like them better... a candle that contacts Baba Yaga, for example, an acorn from the World Tree that is treasured by Trolls and Aesin alike and helps preserve wilderness. They don't seem his style to me, but I feel obliged to mention options"

She shakes her head without a second's doubt. "No, it is this. Thank you, Sir Almandine. I...must make plans. I'll depart soon, within the week. If you see any portents that you think might help me, I would appreciate them." She looks at the paper again, marvelling.

"I will make portents for it a priority if you wish "

A glance to the star chart. "Not if it puts others in jeopardy for you to do so...but If you can look, please do."

"I shall" He bows, "And report to you if I should uncover anything else"

She returns with a slight curtsey, and then she is striding away, eyes on the paper once more.

and once she leaves, he puts the notes away in their hidden alcove that no sluagh or troll knows of.
