He returned after high summer low on glamour, but smiling.

"Hello, my teacher." His smile is apparently infectious, but she becomes concerned after a moment "Bachdion, do you need time before the Balefire?"

"I took a little, honest, I might have caused a small ah, corruption on my High Summer vacation. My talent as grown, but I'm not a wilder buck anymore," He gestures to a seat in his study, "Have a seat, my dear. You look fetching as ever."

"Why, thank you," she preens as she settles in the chair. "I'd love to hear more about this corruption of minute dimensions." Teasingly.

"Well, August and other Liams might approve, but it is the one holiday we can play with mortals. So, respecting August's sensitivities, I went out side the barony to do just that. I might have shaken up a bit of the status quo... I... maybe I should let you guess? Did I A) Disguise myself as a college professor and assist a Sorority out in every possible way? B) Take the place of a Couple's therapist and help three different mortal couples explore boundaries? or C) Help a group of women negotiate fairer wages with their boss at a medium sized company?

She considers him and the question carefully. "I'm inclined to select D) All of the above."

"Ah, if only..." He sighs "In the OLD days maybe" a touch dramatic in his 'woe is me' but there you are "No, just one this year"

"Oh, then...I'd like to think it's the sorority, but I'm guessing you focused on the three couples, instead, and satisfied multiple curiosities."

A grin "Actually, it was the wage negotiations ...but some friends of mine did the others this year, so happy tales all around"

"Wage negotiations? Really?" She looks at him again. "I suppose the banality makes sense, now...."

"I made it less banal than it seemed. A certain chauvnist boss would now buy anyone of them a house as long as she wears leather highboots"

"Ahh. So...making the fantasy pay off. Interesting way to 'prank,' my teacher."

"You don't approve?"

"I very much approve! It's just not at all what I expected. " She smiles. "Of course, that seems to be the case for a few pranks this year. The pooka almost all abandoned this locale...and then there's August....."

"Someone pranked August?"

A smile. "Someone pranked both him and Leonora, but I'll let you coax that tale from her. No...August endeavored a prank of his own devising, though it was more a treat than a prank. He took me to a 'gentleman's club.' "

"I'm sorry August what? A double blink

A surprised look. "So...you didn't suggest it either? Well...I'm getting more and more impressed with him by the moment. Yes...he took me to Club Vogue. And...ordered us a bed dance suite." She shifts a bit in the chair, recalling. "It was...very inspiring."

The satyr whoops! "This is... forgive me, but no, I didn't tell him. And if you already cheeckeed with Leonora, then the likely situation is he thought of this himself. Sweet Aphrodite how far he's come"

She laughs with delight, nodding. "We absolutely couldn't make it all the way back here...we stopped at some motel part-way home."

A lovely sigh. "He's so delicious when he stops worrying about what he should be doing."

"I think my dear you should take pride in the fact you have helped him relax enough to delight in delighting you while not being tense himself, if only for a holiday. What did he say after the motel? Any signs of embarrassment?"

"Well..." The smile fades. "Well, we got into a rather serious discussion after waking up, so...no, no embarrassment, but I think that might be because he wasn't thinking about it."

"Maybe he should do less of that , ssometime, thinking" Dryly "he's a brillaint mind, but he does get in his own way"

"You aren't wrong, my teacher." A sigh, but then a bit of the smile is back. "Still, he seems to be getting in his own way less and less."

"And we should cheer him on for that," A nod, "You should do something to show him your gratitude. Maybe get him a nice gift?"

"I really should. Something...enticing...something to celebrate him. His birthday is soon."

"Oh is it? I didn't know...mm that does up the urge to make it special"

"Very much. But...what to get the man who insists he doesn't need anything, he'll be fine, don't mind him, etcetera, etcetera...."

"I..have no idea." He ponders "A book of lore that would make even Zara's mouth water perhaps? or something related to House Liam, a treasure of it? But where would you even find such a thing?"

She thinks, frowning delicately. "Well...I suppose I could ask Zara what she's heard of in her reading...or perhaps Mr. Gluminski?"

"Either would be knowledgeable, but again, I must remind you you have a Seer"

A sigh. "Poor Sir Almandine. So Eiluned, he keeps becoming unseen. He deserves better."

"Don't admit it to him, he'll want a raise." A wink

"True. But you're right...August deserves something special. I'll ask the Seer."

"And I will draw from the balefire since you're concerned."

"Now you make me sound like a nagging wife, my teacher." A pout.

He rises to move towards her and plants a long hot kiss, then says "You are passionate my dear about protecting and making those you care for happy. It's VERY Fiona, and very you. I assure you, I do not feel henpecked, pestered, or 'nagged'. And if I needs must prove, sometime, when I suspect you do not see it coming yet your time is free...I shall appear behind you, allow you to lay aside your concerns about rulership for a pleasant hour or so, and subjugate you to my lusts which you helped enflame. I will use, and command, and then when it is over... you will take up your crown again and boot my fuzzy butt out of bed"

She returns the kiss eagerly, then listens, so close, her eyes on his until the slip closed as her breath catches and she moans lightly at his words...then smiles. "I...have no problem with this curriculum, my teacher." She opens her eyes again, aroused and intrigued. Then she takes a deeper breath. "But if I am not to expect it, then I'd best be started with other tasks." Her voice still a murmur as she brushes her lips teasingly against his once more...then slips out of reach.

he does swipe, she'd be insulted if he didn't, but she slips away...and he watches her go lustily. "Until later, my flame hearted student"

She gives him a look that is very warm indeed...then departs, in search of the Seer, Sir Whatshisname.

BIC: Alamdine's zodiac star chart increasingly grows more detailed in his room. One might be conerned how it seems everyone n the hold has a sigil or mark
