He nods.

Footsteps, well, hoofsteps

"Hi Delores..." Bachdion's voice can be heard, not so far away "how are you?"

"I'll let you speak with him then." Softly. He takes a step backwards.

"Timing today...." She watches August fading back. "If you like..." She nods.

Bachdion comes around "Mm oh, hello"

"Hello, my teacher." A smile for the satyr and she reaches to take his hands...no kiss, out of deference to August. "How are you today?"

"I'm well enoough, thank you. "

He takes her hands back "And you?"

"Fine. We've been wrangling about how to manage the various potential squires. It occurs to me, though, that you aren't teaching anybody at the moment."

"Oh?" he raises a brow, "Did you want to learn position number 134? I may need a heatherbalm after.."

August opens the door to his study and slips inside, shutting it softly.

"It was a joke I... oh dear"

A glance back at the door, and a sigh. "I'll explain to him later that you were joking, but...he doesn't really appreciate that kind of humor." She slips her hand at Bachdion's elbow and begins to walk with him. "I made a bit of a joke about you engaging in 'mild debauchery' and he became concerned that you were unhappy here."

"He doesn't, and I should know better, "Bachdion says "He's a good fellow and I sometimes forget how far he's come. "

A curious look, "Because it was only mild? "

A smile. "Because to him 'debauchery' is a sign of discontent, perhaps depression."

"Oh, mmm by that logic, you really do give him fever" A smile

"Well...we're oathed, so I think he perceives that gives us a certain...license for licentiousness." A mischievous smile.

"You...are okay, my teacher? I mean...we've agreed that you'll be teaching me some more, but could you also do with a young squire?"

"Even a delightful duty to be sure, and I am glad." Bachdion smiles "no I'm...not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once, as I ever was" Then a bilnk "A squire?"

"A squire." she nods. "Specifically, there's a young boggan boy who chafes against the domestic reputation of his kith."

"Truly?" he says "Taylor, Tylar? something like that right?"

"Tylar, yes. I was thinking about mentoring him, since I've had the boggan experience...but I think there's another who must get my attention."

"Oh? mmm I don't know. Normally I I teach new House arrivals ages 16 and up for reasons you well understand. " He ponders "It's been, well, a long wile since I had an actual squire"

"I thought it might have been. And I don't think he is interested in Fiona training. It might be an interesting challenge for you...?"

He looks amused then says "Only problem is, I'm not sure I can give him full attention. I have other students"

A blink. "You...you do?" A smile. "You sly man, I hadn't realized! Who, and where?"

"I don't tell and I do't tell, but I do flicker flash. And that allows a lot of options" A smiles "Some of the classes I give are embarrassing for the lasses I might be tutoring, my dear. I mean, I'll take the boy on if you like, but I think it be fair to ask him if he minds the fact I'll be away for a few hours each day, somedays for a student, others for myself. I'm older, not dead"

"Hmmm...." Coradel considers. "No, it wouldn't be fair to either of you. Which is fine! We'll figure it out. I'm just glad you're not languishing in grumpish despair!"

"I get melancholy , my dear, of course. I'm a grump satyr, it's part of our nature. We also have our ways of coping. I have mine." A smile, "Do you need more knights for the lad?"

"Well, quantity is not as much an issue as the quality of a good match."

"I see. What of your son and his wife?"

"Which of them do you think would do well to teach a boggan?" A slightly skeptical look.

"Why think of him as a boggan first? he wants to be a squrie. Between the two of them they might manage" he smiles "If you don't mind me saying? Dame CLaire is under utilized. If not this boy, find someone. Yes, her husband to be will sulk, but it will please those who thinkUnseelie Houses are neglected or unwelcome here"

"Hmm...as long as Tylar agrees...." She considers it with a smile.

"Yes. And I'm sorry I'm not more open myself."

"Oh, no, my teacher...we will figure it out." She smiles and squeezes his arm.

"And please, tell August I intend to make it up to him. Maybe I'll take him drinking."

A slight laugh. "He might not thank you for that. Or he might."

A grin , he gives her a peck on the cheek, and withdraws, "Sleep well, my dear. When you do."

She returns the kiss on his cheek. "You as well, my teacher. Perhaps we shall have a lesson tomorrow?"

"I would like that" He says "I'll keep my day clear for you just in case" And he bows low and withdraws

She does likewise. And knowing that August is still working, she instead goes to seek out Dame Claire.
