"Therapy dog, right there." She crouches, and scoops the puppy up in her arms. "Ooof. Won't be able to do this much longer..."

He laughs again. "Oh man....Thanks for that."

He groans. "Ok, thanks. I'm going to sit quietly and drink some water and try to write now."

"Ok, I'm going to go take Ladybird out to the garden so she can run around like a wild thing."

"Which she is. Ok." He offers another hug, and kisses her cheek, which sets Ladybird off into a wild licking effort.

The sidhe Bird dissolves into giggles. "Ladybird!"

"Ok, ok, ok, calm down..... Go on, she needs to burn off some energy."

"Sure. See you at breakfast?"
