"I don't think I can walk." A bit strangled. "Is there a way to .... ah, block the... images? I mean, no, I don't -want- to but.... All I can think about is what happened, in detail, and if it might happen again!"

He swallows. "If this keeps up, Coradel's not going to get anything else done this weekend."

"She might enjoy the lack of productivity," He says "August... she's your wife. Go seduce her, show your gratitude for the gift of that other experience? Do you want to be with her now?"

"-Yes.-" Ferverently.

"Then stop wasting your time with an old goat like me," A grin, "Go find her. Explain to her you have a matter you wish to discuss with her, and if she's not got court business that can't be delayed, I bet she smiles and 'sees you' right away"

"And tell her how much you love her and desire her. Women are odd creatures, some want words, some want deeds, but most... most will insist on a healthy dose of both. They want what they will, and my friend, does that gender have a lot of will"

"But... to seduce her?" With a puzzled frown. "Candles and flowers and wine and music?"

"Why not? though it's possible she won't mind a simple whisper and drawing her to the bed. Get to know her patterns, my friend."

He nods rapidly. "Ok. Do you have any other advice?"

"Cold showers if you can find no outlet are a classic for a reason?" A smile

He nods seriously. "I know." with a sense of personal experience.

"go on, August. NO point to overthinking it"

He nods, stands somewhat awkwardly, and heads for the door. "Thank you, Bachdion." Sincerely as he bolts out of the room.

Bachdion takes another sip of his brandy, "My finest achievement. Here's to me" A pause, "Okay, Cora and Leo helped." A sip

August races along the corridors, skidding past rooms as he searches.....

And he hears voices in the audience chamber

He heads with purpose of mind in that direction.

"What do you think, Innish?" Coradel's voice drifts out into the corridor.

"Seems all proper, you go to their hold, line up with other barons, and swear, then enjoy the dinner and then.. home. A bit brief for my liking"

"For your liking, then, what would be appropriate?" She sounds amused.

"Frankly? " He says "I think you've a right to be first among equals "

August hustles in, but is going for calm non-nonchalant-ness.

"You held the line here, you and the others, while other barons were blind or worse corrupt. You held it for NEmasus, and he has passed, so respect to him should be in your oath either being a private matter , or first among the others. But.. not sure how to word that"

"Well..." She frowns. "Why do you think I'm not? I mean...that's their decision, right? So...why aren't they recognizing me more?"

She glances up a moment...then smiles on seeing August. "Hello, my love."

"Hi." Breathless.

"I think the Aesin and Beaumayn maybe focused on their own arrangements and neglect.." He turns and bows, "Sir August"

She notes the breathlessness, and the smile falters. "Is something wrong?"

"No! No, I ... do you have, ah, are you busy?"

She blinks, then looks at Innish. "Can this wait a bit, Herald?"

"Of course, gives me time to organize a few options" He bows

August's attention is focused, but he does manage to give Innish a polite nod of thanks.

"Thank you. Now...August...?" She stands and goes to him. "What is it?"

He takes her hands and bends to press an ardent kiss to her lips, right there in the audience chamber.

And murmurs to her.

Surprised, but not at all displeased, she returns the kiss thoroughly, then listens.

"Oh." Her eyes light, but the affects a serious expression. "Please...let's conference about this matter...privately." And she draws him to that little side room hidden behind the paneling.

Some of the boggans look downright smug, until Inish hushes them

He follows her eagerly.

And the panel slides shut.

Ahem from Inish "I believe Court is no longer in session at least for now. Carry on about your duties."

THe others do so

Shalimar walks over to Inish "About SIr March or whats his name... I think there's something you should know."

Whispering...

"I did WHAT?!!!"
