Bachdion has been in amazing mood today.

He is in his study, having a fine sniffer of brandy Vince provided him.

A tap at the door.

"Sir Bachdion? Do you have a moment?"

"Always for you, boy, my most impressive student in a while" He motions him in, "Close the door behind you. I am dying to know some things if your'e willing to share"

A look of dread flashes across his face but he does come in and shut the door, taking the seat across from his Fiona mentor. "Yes, sir?"

"The balefire was putting out more floral designs than a 4th of July celebration by profesisonals the other night. And... well, I have to ask, have things changed for you lately? hopefully in enjoyable ways?"

The boy clears his throat but, perhaps remarkably, does not immediately flush. "It... was? Oh. Ah. Well." Another throat-clear. "Coradel and I had sex with Leonora. I'm pretty sure they set me up." It's either bland, or slightly numb; he doesn't seem upset about it, per se.

"And you... you did consent? to the set up?"

"Well it was kind of happening before I knew what was happening....?"

"I mean... they're both Fiona." He shrugs, looking down. "They're good at seduction."

"You wanted them, and you had them." August is now getting hugged by a satyr "My boy!"

"Oof!!" Startled and a little on edge. "I... well.... it...."

"August, I swear, there were times where I thought I'd lose all hope! But there you are, in a trio! And Leonora got you before vince did.. I did wonder!"

EYES WIDE. "Vince?!?!?!" A plot uncovered!

"Bachdion, I'm not... I don't.... I'm not attracted to men!"

"You're a misandrist?" He stares

"I'm just not-gay!" A pause "Why is that such a -bad- thing?!?!"

"Sorry, Satyr here... sometimes I forget others are little less..what's the term, fluid?" He taps a chair, "Have a seat. Tell me more about Coradel and Leonora and yourself? Going to get them back for setting you up by seducing them in return?"

The thought had clearly NEVER occurred. "I don't.... know?"

"I don't even know how that would work, there's only one of me...." mumbled.

"It only takes one to work one up one by one and hint at a meeting shortly in the room of your choice" He says "Lovely. SO, are you taking Leonora as a mistress, or nothing so formal?"

He swallows. "I... don't know. I was hoping you could help me with some guidence or insight. I do need to talk to her. It was.... well, when we finished we just... said good bye and left. So I should talk to her."

"Before you talk, what is it you're hoping to say to her? What do you hope for? Some Women prefer spontaneity and that takes a lot of planning."

He runs his fingers through his hair. "Honestly, I'm not sure. I suppose... something more casual. I mean... right now, at least until summer break, anything regular would have to happen between classes!" A absurd idea! "Do you think she'll be insulted if things don't... happen? I like Leonora, I don't want to insult her, but... when I'm here I'm with Coradel. When I'm not here, I'm at school. I don't know how... it would work. Fit."

"To be blunt? I think you should explain just that to her. That you like her, you consider her a friend, and you enjoy her as a lover, but if she is hoping for frequent romps, your life will have you prioritiizing other things, and your trueheart first. SHe's Fiona, she should certainly understand the latter"

He nods. "That's... very clear. Well-stated. Thank you." He pauses, looking off somewhere internally.

"But also don't neglect a bit of sincere flattery. You really had a great time, you think she's amazing."

"Oh, yes. She is. They are. It was." Murmured.

"August, I know you're a private sort of fellow, but you can lower your guard and express your thoughts safely here."

He actually shivers, and blinks. "What? Oh. No. It was... " He hides the grin by looking down. "... amazing. Really, ah.... kind of confusing but also... wonderful."

"I'm delighted then. August, I think you're going to be fine with talking to Leonora. You're true to your Coradel , strange as that may sound, and you're kind. You won't treat Leonora as if you've a 'right' to anything, nor will you get all mopey if she has other things she has to tend to in her life. Now, if you offer yourself up as a regular lover, you do realize she might see others from time to time? "

"Yes, of course." Bringing himself back to business, with some difficulty.

"And she may eventually get a trueheart of her own, and he may want sexual as well as romantic fidelity."

"From a Fiona?" Blank amazement.

"Well, Sure August, not everyone is as reasonable as you are"

"I wish Leonora every happiness, of course." He shakes his head.

"Well it hasn't happened yet.' He reminds, "And may never. Fiona come in more flavors.. no pun intended, than folks know."

"Hm. Yes." His eyes focus on nothing in particular, mind-in-motion.

"yes, boggan ice creams aside, after last night you had the real swirl"

He shifts uncomfortably in his seat.

"Boggans, yes." Absently.

"August, you're doing it again, your mind is going some place I might find interesting and even offer insight on if you wanted, and you're putting out the 'do not disturb' sign."

"Boggans?" Suddenly hearing himself again. "What? I ... ah. Oh. I apologize, Sir, it's... I keep seeing.... and, ah, feeling.... from yesterday. It's ... a lot to process." He blushes now, just slightly.

"It was... very memorable."

"Ha," He pats him on the shoulder, "It's okay, August. I think Coradel might be a bit offended if you weren't stunned."

"It... they.... " At a loss. "It really was... -good-."
