"Not a doctor Carollos?" He says, "no, no.. there are ways to do things to do it right.."

She kens him, "Oh you poor man."

"I can get the doctor from before, if you like." August offers gently. "Dr. O'Hurn?"

"I think Dr. O'Hurn would approve of her, Papa. They come from a similar medical background."

August nods, agreeing with Chloe.

"Whenever you're ready to begin, Mrs. Carollos."

"Ah yes," SHe says, "Forgive me, Chloe, but I'll need to see just the two of them alone for the next several hours. Perhaps you and August could go have a meal and a walk?"

"You...alone?" A bit of a frown.

"I'm afraid I must, or the chance of their recovery will be harmed"

August offers to take Coradel's hand. "It'll be ok. We can trust her."

She doesn't seem harsh or cruel about this, but very firm

Gently.

A slight hesitation more...then "Of course. Mama, Papa...please listen to her." And she allows August to draw her away.

CC nods to Chloe "thank you for understanding the need." A nod to August "And your trust."

He walks her out of the room, and to get something to eat.

"If she does anything other than help them, August...." A warning tone after they've headed downstairs.

He looks startled. "What? Why would she do that?" Shocked.

She frowns. "I just...do not like being ordered out of there...."

He grins and slides an arm around her. "I didn't hear it as an order, but.... She did wonders with Autumn."

"Autumn People?" She slips an arm around his waist in return.

"No, a young lady named Autumn. She'd been.... ah. Badly abused. Caesar and Zara and I stopped the one who'd been doing it, and he can't hurt anyone else now, but Mrs. Carollos and Zara put Autumn back together. That's how I got to know Caesar."

"Well...if you trust her to do this...I will trust her."

He smiles. "Thank you." And kisses her gently. "Have a seat." In the kitchen. "I can put together sandwiches."

"I'd like that, thanks."

No doubt the young ones only went as far as they had to. She suggested a restaurant, so they'll go to the kitchen below. She locks the door, and bars it..a veiling...and ... the world may never know.

August makes sandwiches and they eat. "She said she'd be a while. Do you want to do something? We could go riding, or... it's a little chilly, but the pool is heated, right?"

"Well, Samson is at EarthRunes....and my bathing suit is back upstairs. But...yes, the pool is heated...and we're the only ones here...." She gives a suggestive smile.

"Ok. You want me to go get your suit? I guess there are some spare trunks around, huh?" He bounces to his feet and dusts off his hands.

"Nooooo....."

"....I'm saying...we can swim without suits."

"Oh. Ah." He glances around. "But... well, there -are- other people here. Ah. Your parents? And Mrs. Carollos?"

"Well....they're busy."

"There are windows."

"No, you know what?" He takes a deep breath, straightening. "Ok. When you're done. Let's go."

"Yes. There are windows."

A blink at his change in demeanor, and a smile. "Good." And she finishes handily.

He swallows again, but when she's ready, out to the pool they go.

August seems to have forgotten that the pool is partially outdoors and partially indoors, contained in a sort of greenhouse structure, and nicely heated. Coradel has mercy on him and selects the inside portion.

So yes, there are windows, which look out onto a lovely wooded yard. Coradel strips down easily, smiling at him.

He does the same, albeit more nervously.

She smiles in appreciation...then easily dives in from the side of the pool.

One of these sidhe has more tan lines than the other

He takes another deep breath and, as been the case since Memorial Day 2017, dives in after her.

And the two sidhe linger in the pool, in no particular hurry to investigate what's going on upstairs.

Well, that's one way , a pleasant way, to kill sometime.
