August breathes again.

Fiona , even satyrs do not fear, but he does feel the urge to bow at her outrage.

Others quaver slightly

Because you love him, and he loves you, and I will not have your love turned sour by anything if I can help it. And, it turns out I could. August's conscience was appeased. Delores concerns were handled. And Bess ended up okay. I even had a very nice time out of it," A wink to Vince

A rumble of a purr in response.

"I do think Good Queen Bess couldn't have landed amongst better gentlemen..."

Magnus nods . Claire looks at him, "Don't nod like that makes sense? YOU ever pull anything like that I'll gut you, have you heatherbalmed, and gut you again."

"Sir." Quietly. "Due respect, but what is between Coradel and I is between Coradel and I. That is sacred. We cannot grow together if matters are usurped. That said... I think I agree with Derynwydd."

She is still frowning...but the frown shifts to an angry pout...and she can't help but move to give Bachdion a hug.

Bachdion iinclines his head to both Liam, but then smiles as he's given a hug, "Sir August has a point. I ..will try not to intrude too often. But I don't regret that I did. Can't lie about it. Gwydion snoop."

"It's pronounced Knight, It's celtic" The Gwydion says straight faced

She whispers something to Bachdion before releasing him from the hug.

He smiles, whispers something back

Then she turns to the others. "Then it is agreed, though I think we need to develop a safer method of sober-izing."

Her wings draw in around her shoulders, settling like a cape. "Agreed."

This perks his attention. "I'll be interested in the results of that, for all that it ruins a fine evening's work."

"Vince and I will find something " Jack says "Kid's..eager , has an alchemist's soul."

He looks taken aback the unexpected praise - but it is untoward for a feline to look surprised - rather, he is suddenly taken with a need to buff some spot off his sleeve, and if his cheeks are a little reddened, it must just be from the bloody Caesar.

"Well, at least we have orders and a plan," Inish looks relieved, "Some of us old timers crave boundaries, blast it."

"Now...anybody want to preview anxieties about Beltaine?" She's looking hopeful that the answer will be no."

A few chuckles

"Do you loan August out for tying to the pole? And how much can we play with him once it's good and tight?" Leonora says

"I understand, Inish. This will be a transition year. That cannot be avoided. Please bear with me as we try to sort things through."

"That...is up to August." She gives him a wry look.

"Anxieties, no, but I -do- have a couple cocktail ideas that I may run by Sir August in our Libationary Lesson this Sunday..."

A blink. "His...what?"

The Liam in question blushes. "Ah... no, I don't think so."

Bachdion chuckles

"Cocktail Class. 3pm, sharp, mind you."

Sparrow frowns a little, green eyes quietly watching.

He gives Coradel a mystified look, and then one to Bachdion, and ends up giving one to Vince.

A whisper to Sparrow from Magnus

"Cocktail Class? Really? Maybe I'll join you."

A murmur back, a slight shake of her head.

A sigh, mumble

"Just so everybody knows...I thought the troubadours were brilliant last night, and I hope they have just as much endurance on Beltaine." She grins. "I hope you agree."

Murmur, sad smile.

"ha. Yes." Jack says

"Endurance is important, yes."

"Crucial" Bachdion agrees

A small coughing fit.

"I think Sir August would like to get bacck to his other duties and rest," Delores says kindly, "Chancellior? Freeholder? If there's nothing else either of you wishes to address?"

She shakes her head.

A look around the room. "Meeting adjourned, then. Continue your recovery." She waves them away airily.

"Court no longer in session in the bar" the herald declres, "Tavern now is."

Inish smiles at all, "Pardon. Habit."

He claps his hands together. "Alright! Who wants a refill? Good for what ales you, eh?"

"I think I like this tradition, too...informal meetings in the Tavern." Coradel resumes her seat next to August.

Coradel waves to Vince. "I'd like something with a bit more bite, Whiskers."

August gives her a mildly concerned look.
