She tilts her head back to look at him. It's not a look of shock...not even really one of surprise. More one of...confirmation? "When he and I talked...I thought...I don't remember that, but something made me think that it was possible."

He nods, looking down and away.

"It bothers you." A soft murmur as she watches his expression.

"I... I don't know. I think maybe so."

"In my memories... he and I weren't.... we didn't... it was you. We were with you."

A little catch of breath that she tries to smooth back to normal, and then a gentle smile. "Was it good?"

He shrugs. "I guess? It was a dream."

"But not a nightmare." She nestles in close against him once more. "You spoke about that with him?"

"In general terms, yes. He... he seems to have memories that more or less match my own. He... now, this is from a pooka but... he seems to understand and respect what you and I have. If I understand correctly, he wants to... to be friends. At least."
