"Dad!"

He hasn't seen her look this betrayed in a long time.

"Honey, Jordan is in the Dreaming, Colton is probably ground level at Dark gate with troops to back him"

She looks down at the snapdragons that have sprouted from the seeds and are growing up in a circle on the Silver. Then she sets her jaw, gets to her feet, and grabs her spear. "You better be right, Dad."

He lifts a brow but doesn't argue with her right to be upset "Rovers make the hard choices when they have to. Sorry if this one you don't agree with. You coming with? I can take it from here alone if you want" he offers

"I know, Dad," she says impatiently, not looking at him. "And yes, I'm coming." Duty calls louder than resentment.

And off they go, on the temporary silver "PIck up the pace, " He says "We gotta run"

And he starts to huff it, a brisk jog

Jaw set, she keeps up with him, possibly passing him.

Olgar is good shape, but it may have eluded him just how much time has added to his daughter's power and health, even if he must now work harder to maintain his. Even here in the Dreaming, the young must eventually overcome the old. That's the way of it. With time. WHile he might resent the OLD title, there's a mixed look of surprise, a bit of sheepishness, and yes, pride on hsi face. Even as she snubs him just a bit ala focusing on the mission

Sylvi's not unaccustomed to working out her emotions through running. And right now she's got a lot of emotions.

"HElp!" Colton's voice can be heard from the side of the trod as she goes by. He holds out a hand trying to reach the silver and not able to

Despite all her trod training, it actually makes her break her pace for a moment. But then she gives a wordless sound of frustration and anger, and resumes running the silver.

Colton's face contorts "Bitch" ANd he shifts to.. well whatever that is, it's NOT colton. SHe knew that, but damn it, bad timing for that ruse.

"There's my girl" Her father says proud as she resists temptation

Normally such a statement would fill her with pride and pleasure. His approval

Now? Maybe not so much

Yeah, bad timing all around. Clenching her teeth, she runs faster.

And there is Jordan, a drift on an isle of silver.. and the temp trod clicks to touch it and connect. He is bloody, wounded, and nearly passed out. Thallian snarl and snap

But .. it doesn't matter, she gets to him, and he mutters "Couldn't hold the island together.. sent the other one ..away from the .. wave"

Olgar moves quickly "Jordan! Easy , We got you"

Together, they work to drag him back to the main trod. "Other what?"

"There was a nother kithian, he was scared, terrified... said he was in willows... and a rover died to protect him.. " A grin at Olgar "Hey old man"

"Healthy enough to have a mouth on you" Olgar says 'Wait, you pushed AWAY from the wave?"

"Yeah" He says "But I don't know if he made it"

"SHit.. he might drift towards Dark gate, or SIlverwolf" He says "Come On, Jordan, let's get you home. I'll look for her later." HE picks the centaur up, and carries him
