there is an eruption of energies and Zara and Earl appear, along with the childlings that Zara rescued

Zara lands like a cat, dropping to a crouch.

Speaking of cats, the Lynx is leaps out of the Eshu's grab and looks about

"Where in the name of the Tardis' butt side ARE we?" The nocker says

"sss..." the boy says "more trolls"

"Not home yet, I'm sorry."

The Eshu however says "I know where we are. I think. We're in.. is this the DeBukes?"

"We need to make sure you can safely return home, and that you don't just get snagged right back up into Gwydion hands."

Earl raises a brow as the Eshu appears to know of them.

"is this the DeBuke farm?" The sluagh boy says "With it's creepy Scarecrow so wise, and the bale that no noble has ever commanded?" Now curious as well

There are more trolls out here working even in winter, and they give curious looks of their own. Wondering why a courier, an apprentice, and someone inconsequential might be here with their kitten

She raises a brow.

And - yes, releases the magic.

At that, the trolls have different reactions "Poor things will freeze" "Tell the Hearth" "Someone tell the Mountain I think he was expecting visitors"

But it is Buck, the Centaur, who approaches them first and hurriedly "You litttle ones will likely freeze out here. Now, who wants to ride a centaur's back to a warm fire? I'm Buck by the way. Miss Zara and Earl will vouch for me"

"Centaurs ARE back!" The Eshu giggles

"If they're all this big, there's gonna be a grain shortage" Her nocker sister says bluntly

Earl says "Hi, Buck. We don't have their names, but if it's okay, yes, they could use haven. Seems they know where this is. "

"The Farm has a reputation."

"Guess that cat is out of the bag and.. oh hello you" Buck says to the little girl with Lynx ears holding up her hands. He puts her on his back, then the others to keep them out of the deep snow . Looks like the pooka changed back when folks were distracted, "Yes, children, this is the DeBuke farm. And it has a centaur, and a few pooka, and a few other kith. Let's get you indoors. Mountain is waiting indoors."

"How did you fit a whole mountain indoors?" The nocker asks. She doesn't DENY it is possible, but would like the schematics

"He has to duck."

"Quack" goes the pooka

Buck laughs at that "I like that. Mountain is just another word for..well, Shaman or Seer in troll talk, but even more important" And he trots with his load "Zara, Earl, come on. Hot tea waiting"

Come to think of it, Zara IS possibly feeling cold, even under the farm wards

Perhaps - but she is a dream of winter, of dark northern lands, of icy waters.... but, well, tea still sounds delightful.

The childlings are soon meeting DeBuke childlings who move to protect them and help the Hearth help them. Zara? Well, her maid outfit is elderformed into a victorian dress that is far less servile looking by Clem, while Earl enjoys tea with her. The kids safe.. Zara has time to savor her tea, a bit of quiet, and ..success.
