CC comes out with Emerson

Arms around each other.

Agnes greets them, "Thank you for coming" She offers some warm drinks

Emerson is busy uwrapping as much of CC as she wishes, first.

"Happy to help" CC says "how bad is it?"

He presents Agnes the basket they brought.

"Well, thank you, Emersonn" She takes the basket "And it's bad. " She explains the three fold quest Clem used to drive Buck off, hoping he'd decline and how that backfires

"I take it he's returned, then? Is his quest complete?"

"He's back out of the Dreaming, and on his way"

"So the problem is his success?" CC says "This is almost amusing"

"Clem is in a dither over his approach, then?"

"She starting to realize how much she cares for him, and she can'tt hide behind duty anymore"

"And?" a bit baffled.

CC translates "She's Chief first, a woman second, and she'd keep things stable by findingg a nice troll boy..... now i'ts Katherrine the great jokes and another fight with her family, or so she likely sees it?" A look at Agnes

"Bout righht" Agnes sigghs "I gave up on love once for the good of the farm... but one reason I did was so that the future generations would't have to. i've made some mistakes. I hate to see Clem walk same mistakes'

Emerson massages his temples. "And she's likely to stay in a dither until she can come to peace with all this?"

"Fraid so... I'm family, so anything I'll say goes in one ear and out the other. Buck already gave us a Donkey Corn, exposed a plan by a Winter Witch to kill our spring casters... so that's TWO parts of the quest done. Last part is to find his true love. Well, gguess how htat little part worked o Clem's get out of love free card attempt?"

"The girl -is- Seelie, yes? Not showing her stomach to any and every passerby??"

"I thought she had no time for fellows period, but I suspect she'd been.. wooing buck in disguise. She can eldeform, and this.. Centauress had been seen about..." Agnes sighs "Wilders always out clever themselves"

"Wait, she was Buck's 'golden flanked honey'?" CC covers herr mouth but can't hide her delight "oh I was worried the Chief had no minx at all"

"Why doesn't Emmit just point out this Buck has done as asked and now Clem must, by her own words, consider him? Done."

"Oh, Emmit rarely played the heavy. That.. usually falls on me" Agnes sighs "I... probably played it too well but that's my burden. Point is, Clem is so frazzled she's no good to herself"

"Or to the farm" CC ponders "or to me.. to be selfish about it"

"given your condition you're allowed to be selfish" Agnes admits

"What do we need then? Alcohol? A potion?"

"Ain't sure I care for the idea of gettting the girl drunk.. " Agnes admits

"How about Buck?"

"Well, I thik he's hopinngg to go..." agnes ponders

"Go where?"

"Well I mean, go right into her arms. Of course" She says "But she may bolt."

"Some sort of bondage then... " He mutters.

"Kinky honey" CC says "Agnes, leave it to us"

"You sure?" Agnes says

"If it works, it works...." he mutters.

"We're sure" CC says and waves Agnes of as CC annd EBG go out a bit to look for Clem

And CC whhispers "HOW much booze you think?"

"I will find however much we need." He assures her.

"mmm let's sneak up on a troll"

He nods. "Veil?"

"Sure. You or I?"

"Allow me." And he does.

tthey find Clem, a grown woman, talkinng to herself "Fine.. he's allowed to hook up with some unseelie troll floozy... I mean, wha would I care, she's probably nice... Silverwolf probably has perfectly lovely trollops"

William gently draws Callidora to the side to watch.

Clem whispers and mutters to herself "You sentt him. He's done it. If he ffounnd some girl out there, ggood on him, and if he's coming for you.. oh lord, what if he IS coming back for me?"

William glances at Callidora, and ' BONDAGE' is clear in his eyes.

"Doesn't strike me as the shackles for fun sort, honey" CC whispers

Clem sighs "What if I put him afore the farm? Unforgivable, but .. if I were someone's trueheart I'd want him to put me before everyhin.. lardy, I am two faced."
