"To the trods, if I might have the honor?"

"My pleasure" She gets up once he grabs the pie, and goes with him to the trods. This allows them a bit of privacy as they walk. The trolls do have a lot of chores, and don't do them as efficiently as boggans.

Emerson trundles along after Clem.

"Mister Stodgepole. I might stress that I showed you the trees .. the rude ones? Unnder a kind of confidence. Gossip if you wish but do change some details as you find wise?"

"Chief Clem. What trees?"

A smile at that and they get to the trods

He pauses there and smiles up at Clem with a twinkle. "Thank you for a marvelous time, Chief."

"You're most welcome. And don't fuss over me. I'll have my fun, just might nnot holler outloud about it" And she nods in farewell

"If you ever need to holler outloud, Chief.... you know where I may be found." he winks, and is gone.

Clem ponders.. mmm she may take a trod trip herself soon.
