"Yeah, you know, she should have a hat to dip it in instead" Clem says then says "Nadeen, I didn't make her do that. We got her goggles and apronn and gloves.. but she smeared it on"

Nadeen eyes Briar "Marigold is going to fuss a me about that"

"'I'll take the regular classes if I can visit Ol' Whackenbush again."

Briar just gives a gory grin.

"You only get to visit ole Whackennbush IF you get your grades up to C level. Donn't fuss. You got time to get there" Clem says. It's not negotation by that tone "He does slaughter a lot of pigs." A look to Nadeen "Probably be happy to see her at least once every week and a half, maybe every week. "

"That mean kinain who came in and gave the lectures about serial killers and how to use equations with their kill count, and percentage of the population tha was their hunting ground?" Nadeen makes a face

"Yeah, nice of him to sub like that" Clem nods

"Whoaaaa." Briar nods. "I don't know nothing about sea-level. Ain't Nebraska land-locked?"

"Grade Cs or above, the letter like.. better than Ds or Fs" Nadeen explains

"Eh.... I'll try. I guess."

"Trying means a lot," Clem says "Can't ever improve results without trying first."

Gerd approaches "Okay, Nadeen. Who is going with you to....oh there she is. Ah..." Gerd looks at Nadeen, "Your companion has blood in her hair?"

Gerd herself is dressed in dark blues and black, a goth look, her own hair dyed black with a blue streak

"It's not her blood" Nadeen says

Gerd blinnks 'yeah. So ready to go?"

She gives a toothy grin. "It's never my blood. No one makes me bleed my own blood...."

"A wise policy" Nadeen says approvingly

"Who's this?"

"This is Gerd, of Rivervale" Nadeen says

"I know flicker flash so I'll get you home quicker" Gerd says

A curious look at her. "You know Dirk?"

"Yeah, he's the peacemaker of our area. " Gerd says "You might see him around the farm too actually. They teach older kids here sometimes. Wilders and such"

Clem nods "True."

"Peacemaker?" She snorts in amusement. "Like, a Rest in Peace maker?"

"Maybe I'll see him around. I don't care." A glower.

"Of course you don't" nnadeen says "But it's nice redcaps are about and kicking ass in more than one barony?"

"No 'barony' here" Clem snorts

"Figure of speech" Nadeen says

"Right right.." Gerd says "Before we create a big debate, off you Sliverwoofers go" She claps her hands...

and Briar and Nadeen vanish... to reappear near the kennels of Silverwolf

Briar and Nadeen gone, Gerd looks to Clem "A redcap girl huh?"

"Yeah, we figured we didn't have enough challenges.." Clem says "Tell me more about this Silver wolf hold"

"And it's baron" She says "I got the story from Nadeen. I want yours if you'll give?"

Gerd says "Oh wow.. tthis could long, complex and just a bit petty on myside. Sure"
