The Ant tries to pick her up and carry Dagmar to class. it is strong enough to lift her. However, while it's pinchers are actually dull, can it hold her? Mmm

The Ant 's stalks rise up and it bounces almost like a dog wagging a tail

She trudges to the school-end of the farm.

Sally Mae is waiting for her "Hey, you okay? " Then she sighs at the True Ant "I see you got a friend."

"I brought him back. Can I go now?"

"I'll even take the stupid math homework with me."

"Dagmar, " Sally Mae says " I am not supposed to let my students go running off." A sigh "It's Adam, isn't it?"

"I thought this was supposed to help us by being less restrictive than real school."

"I will do my work, I just don't want to be cooped up in that room."

Sally Mae says "Dagmar. How many schools give you time off for questing or biology credit for the horse work? Seriously, we both know restrictive is not the term that fits. And you're avoiding my question. Is this about Adam?"

"Why do I need to sit in there to study?" Stubbornly.

"I've two boggans, and I'm not telling you which ones, that say that you would rather have a dental drill than endure Adam. Now one boggan can be wrong. two? Less likely. "
