After a bit of walking. "He's hot for Nab."

"Point." He agrees.

"Nevermind." And maybe he feels bad about it. "Just... being an asshole. Being pissed off about trying not to be pissed off."

"We feel how we feel.." A pause "Oh, yyou think I'm using him as training wheels for you? or using you as his training wheels for sidhe? Nah. I just think you're both cool"

"I thought I was your only one!?!" Faux hurt/offended.

"You'll always be special to me, precious" A wink "But yes, we're both allowed other friends"

He dims somewhat as they get to the schoolhouse, but in he goes.

History being taught... and ..handed out about the class are arrowheads "Native American, First nation, American Indian... call it what you like, you are holding their works of 'long distance stabbing'. Adam settles in, and does the work.

Most of the guys find it kind of cool "Will we be taught how ot make our own bows?" One asks

The teacher ponders "Are you all interested in that?"

Adam doesn't seem particularly interested.

Later, Clem greets Adam between classes."Hey, Adam."

"Chief." He waits, head high with eye contact, if she seems to want to speak with him.

"I was told you had papers for me regarding credit for biology?"

"Oh, yes." He digs through his bag and finds them, relatively unscathed. "Thank you."

Elsewhere, Dagmar finds a large Chimerical ant, big enough to carry even HER, carrying a sign about it's neck 'Please return to school"

Clem looks them over "Mmm" She reads "Falconry huh? One of our own won first place for hawking at pennons in Bergen." A pause "Well, there was this Ailil lady with a burr up her butt, but she lost the coin toss"

"Yes, Chief."

"I want to talk to you about your attitude" Clem says

"Yes, Chief."

"Is there some reason you're treating everyone like they're not worth your time?" A brow "Got something against Iowans? or farmfolk?"

"No, Chief. I've been doing the work assigned."

"You've been making every sigh, every eye roll, every sign of your disgust with this place, and, judging by how you've been avoiding them, your fellow students clear as day. People don't enjoy being treated with ingratitude, Adam, or like they're not worth your time so mcuh as for a howdy. Now you've got freinds who tell me you're not so bad. Could you may return the favor and not signal every five minutes how much you hate it here and making other students want to skip school?"

"I can't do much about what the other students want, Chief. I will work on my attitude."

"Uh huh" She says raising a brow "You know.. I'm real tempted to have you chicaneried to be LOVE the farm. But I suppose that might be less than ethical" A snort "Scues me, I have to find Dagmar"

"She ok?"

"No Adam, she's not okay. She doesn't want to come to school because her Ex boyfriend is shooting daggers of resentment at everyone and she's caught in the crossfire and a bit more sensitive than most" Clem says "In point of fact, you can do a LOT about what other students want, including not treating them like the enemy all the time. Your attitude affects your actions."

"And those actions affect others" She turns to go "I'll get you your bonus credits for biology set up"

Adam frowns, now that she can't see him. "Thank you, Chief."

And off she goes
