A dark, real angry bleeds into his expression. He waits a long moment before saying quietly "Don't want to talk about my mom with you, Dude."

"Fine. You know what? I'm sorry your family is having a hard time. I'm sorry everything isn't perfect.. for you. You've got the mentors you wanted to teach you sword fighting, Fiona stuff ,magic and more. You live in a palace. You have a school that lets folks take time off for QUESTS. You've got a dream girlfriend who is crazy about you, and more freinds than you know. But sure.. hey... you can't control your mom and dad so get mad at me. Geez man"

"Not mad at you, Dude. You're solid."

"Well it seems like it. I try to find the source of your problem and you glare at me like I'm humping her leg in front of you" he huffs "I just.. I want to help, but when you close up like this , you make it impossible"

"You can't help."

"Well, THAT sucks" He says

"Yeah."

"Okay. Let me try this. Is me being here making it worse?"

"No? Mostly I just want to be alone."

"Okay. Alone I can give you" HE rises "I hope you feel better soon. Nab is worried"

"Take care of her."

"I mean, if she needs something."

"DUde.. take care of her? SHe's got you"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Don't talk lilke that... you sound like a suicide planner trying to give away a goldfish"

"Nah. Not killing myself."

"Just.... kinda taking a step back. School and all. Not a lot of time for social shit. So."

"It doesn't seem any longer than passack, shorter in fact" he says

"I guess."

And a figure approaches. it's Clem

Adam stands. Did he miss the bell? He look to see if others are around or if the area is neurosis-makingly deserted.

Others are about, still seems to be break

Good. "Talk to you later Dude, looks like we're going back."

"Actually," Clem says "We have extra credit for Geography/History and I'm looking for volunteers"

Adam does not make eye contact.

"What's up, Chieftain?"

"Island being hit by a hurricane... we're going to evacuate the survivor kithian, bring them food, drink etc. etc.. and get histroy about those islands thrown in so it acts as credit" Clem says

"No, thank you, Chief."

Zane looks worried, then says "I'll go"

And about 7 volunteers are gathered up to go

with Adam and the remainder going back to 'regular class'
